We have coming out WW1984, Suicide Squad 2, BoP - all DCEU. The Joker which is (for now) a one shot stand alone.
We have confirmed a new (whatever that means - reboot, prequel) Batman trilogy which may well be it's own thing with rumours of it spawning a new universe.
We have snippets of information about Supergirl, GL, Shazam!2, AM2, Black Adam.

Let's say WB/DC pull the plug on the DCEU after their next set of movies as listed above, cut their losses and move full steam ahead with the Reeve Batman to kick start a new franchise/universe to introduce their ideas for new films/characters, how would you like to see it done, so that the DCEU has a nice conclusion with any loose ends tied up?

My take.

WW, AM are still popular and a shame to let go, Shazam! has the potential, as does Cyborg and the rest of the justice league and characters. So make a movie that combines all of these.

Call it Wonder Woman: Kingdom Come

It's set in 2039, the world is a very different place. Heroes are every where, vigilantes, metahumans, aliens - earth has changed since the arrival of Steppenwolf and then later, Darkseid. Cities looks amazing, but still have their slums - crimes occur, but police are beaten to it by wannabe heroes and super beings. It's on the brink, it looks fine and a great, cool world, but it's one mad man from disaster.

WW doesn't look a day older, a UN spokesperson she is a valid member of society, a society where atlantis thrives, themyscira is all but a nature reserve and space exploration - controlled by the GL corps is progressing nicely. Batman has retired, but his legend still lives on with the extended bat family controlling the streets of Gotham. Atlantis has it's king and Queen, with AM using his time to bridge the two worlds. Cyborg is so much more now, he's like the internet, yet sentient and is like the firewall for the internet, keeping everyone safe and tracking crime whilst it's in its infancy. Space stations, planets litter the universe and the green lantern corps are keeping the peace.
Superman is on a kansas farm - we learn that he is retired, he has a son and they live a modest life, we are told through flashbacks how darkness fell on clark - he lost lois in the battle for metropolis Darkseid. The knightmare scenes in BvS pretty much happened. Darkseid invaded after the events in JL, superman lost the plot and seemingly joined Darkseid, giving DS hope that he had finally cracked the anti life equation - darkseid and Superman were about to launch an international invasion on earth, making everyone their slaves when Superman revealed it was revenge and that he knew what the equation was (superman has the codex in him, which is basically the life equation that kryptons had mastered centuries before - the dna sequence just needed reversing) but was going to use it to send DS to a damnation of life in the phantom zone. The events left Clark a broken man and empty, his 7 year old son his only inspiration.
New wave of heroes - aliens now live openly on earth, there are rules and codes and ofcourse they can, like clark, use their powers for good, it doesn't stop rogue villains. A high security prison houses the villains in the hope of rehab.
Luthor Jnr - sets a plan to release the villains, to cause disaray and break the political system as it is so he can rise and take power. Luckily, the JL (WW, Superman, Batman, Cyborg, Flash, AM, GL) with help (Hawkman, hawkgirl, Booster gold, Green Arrow, MM, kid flash, Superboy, Supergirl) reform and stop luthor in his tracks, keeping the relations between human, non human intact and stable.

The heart of the story is clark and his son, arthur and mera as they both navigate their families in this new world, with clark feeling the loss of lois but hope in his sons eyes - the action and adventure is seeing the new heroes keep the peace, with the old guard making occassional 'appearances' until the old guard is needed in a way the world will never realise. The story is told via Diana, who we learn, is telling the story of the events of 2039 in her own year of 2089 to a class of new heroes.

A heist movie of the old guard teaming up, with a recap and introduction to key players. Amazing fight and action scenes that allow us to see how this crop of heroes get to hang up their cape.

I never been a fan of universes, whether it’s DCEU, MCU or Universal’s Dark Universe.
Solo hero movies are always the best.
