I don't think so..
He didn't consume anyone with the power of invicibility yet..
...We really need to find a Hero with Superman-like powers..

Valerie_f4.. I think I <insert your choice of words here> you.
say wha?

True he cant...because that would result in his death. Im pretty sure hes only compatible with human genes...just like everyone else

You wouldn't get diabetes from eating someone with diabetes.

Btw...yes that means when I said he could absorb a cow's power I was most likely wrong. I think he is only human gene compatible in terms of taking in powers because after all it does require some sort of modification of his genes

No..but you would get some pretty sweet meat

///Nevermind.
i refused to nevermind!
that could be "love" or "hate" or "know" or "killed"

that was very strange...and open-ended

It's a genetic disorder. If he can get powers from eating the brain and absorbing the genetic mutation into himself, than he can get genetic illnesses as well.

All Im saying is that Sylar could be getting these powers because the brain matter he would be eating wouldn't be any brain matter but genetically altered brain matter. Thus certain genetically modified organisms that might be found in the brain matter may have a direct affect with his DNA...of course his powers would act as a certain catalyst for this effect

Yeah but you act like when you eat something you automatically inherit all genetic information...

His power is only to understand how it works. He would have to actually do something to make it work.

So you're suggesting the brain cells of the "heroes" are resistant to digestion?

That sounds like what you're suggesting is my point.

No Im just saying that the genetic organisms found in the brain matter is what is affecting his DNA. Just because he digest their brain matter doesnt necessarily mean he'll inherit the disease of his victim...(unless the person has an STD...thats a given :o ). he could simply understand by knowing which part of the brain allows the most functioning of the power.

Id find it awkward if Sylar just alters his genetic information. If he could do so why would he have to kill all those people...A few courses in genetics should allow him to know just how mutated genes work...which in turn will allow him to fix his genetic information and gain practically anything he wants at will. So the killings would just be really random and stupid.

Which genetic organisms in the brain?

Well, I'm guessing he would need to find out which genetic codes allowed for certain abilities, and what's better than some hands-on experience? It may be awkward, but I can't think of anything else.:o:meow:

...As it was already pointed out.. You could just take some classes on that.. No need for hands on..
