Maybe. But that scene is not in the arena. I just now found out where that scene really is by looking at the another similar scene. It's in [BLACKOUT]Asgard you can actually tell by small details in the background. It looks like a big spaceship from Sakaar most likely arrives on the rainbow bridge. So Korg and Miek are in Asgard fighting Hela minions.[/BLACKOUT]

You know, assuming the other gladiators do rebel, I would find it amusing if one of the stinger scenes was the gladiators, led by Korg. . . negotiating a contract with the Grandmaster. "Look, most of actually *like* being famous arena fighters. We'll totally come work for you if you stop treating us like prisoners."

Taika Waititi (Korg)

Pulling double duty, Waititi plays the 8-foot-tall Kronan warrior made of purple rocks. Korg was originally supposed to have only a few scenes, but Waititi manages to flesh him out (via motion-capture suit) substantially.

“You've got to understand that Taika Waititi the actor is an incredible person to work with,” the director explained. “When Taika Waititi the director comes across someone like that, it just seems appropriate to give that actor a bit more time to show what they can do. I did that, and my theory was correct. I was, he was that good. As an actor, I highly valued Taika Waititi the director, who was very generous to me in giving me a few more takes than everyone else, and really let me show what I can do.”

Waititi said his voice as Korg was inspired by Polynesian bouncers who would look very big and intimidating but have very softspoken voices.

From the Comic-con footage scene that included Korg. Korg sounds exactly like what Taika Waititi said he would. Very soft spoken voice and extremely friendly. Here is the inspiration for the voice and the exact voice of Korg. 20:42.

In terms of how he looks. He is a grey looking rock monster. He's big and imposing which makes the voice sound even more strange because it is so soft for a big rock dude. He has the armour that was already shown and in terms of his stature he is quite taller than Thor himself but not as tall as the Hulk.
