Remember to keep and eye (and/or ear) out for talk show appearances from anyone involved with Ghost Rider. Again, if anyone has the capabilities, record them for those who don't (ie: me). I really want to have an awesome collection of goodies out of all this, ya know?

Some links to keep an eye on:

Late Show w/ David Letterman
http://www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/show_info/pants/

Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno
http://www.nbc.com/The_Tonight_Show_with_Jay_Leno/show_calendar/

Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien
http://www.nbc.com/Late_Night_with_Conan_O'Brien/index.shtml

... and as I was collecting these, I found this...

The Late Night TV Page
http://www.interbridge.com/lineups.html#LLS

It lists a lot of shows w/ upcoming guests. Neato.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to see much of any thing Talk-Show wise until about the second week of February.

Awesome!

I just checked that page I posted and Nic is confirmed for JAY LENO as well. Monday 2/12

yuppers...maybe we might see others cast members making the rounds too?

..so we have 2 talk show appearances so far...the 12th and 15th.

I'm pretty sure, forgot his name (tired), the guy who plays Caretaker is on Letterman (?) tomorrow.

There's no mention of that on that Late Night TV page....

And Caretaker is Sam Elliot.

If Sam is on Letterman, could someone pleeeeease let us know what he had to say. I don't think I've ever seen an interview with him and he seems like a real interesting guy.

:yay:

Yeah, sorry my mistake.... as I said, I was tired.... turns out it was Chris Elliot, not Sam Elliot. I check the late night schedule every week though, so if I see something I'll double check then add it here. Sorry for the confusion...

No worries Tempest. Yeah, let us know if you see or hear anything.

MONDAY

Leno: Nicholas Cage

WEDNESDAY

Regis: Nicholas Cage

THURSDAY

Regis: Eva Mendes

Conan: Cage

- Note: I don't know about Friday, TV Guide (online) had no detailed information.

If anyone has the ability, please record the piece tonight (this week) and share with those who can/won't watch...

I guess Nic is not a letterman kinda guy...

... and I'm not the biggest fan of Leno... sadly. Of course, I'll watch it tonight though...

I am actually a bigger Leno fan than Letterman, but none of them really excite me too much...Conan maybe, just because he is a big geek like all of us. :woot:

I'll be watching tonight guys (Nic on Leno) so I'll try to get a description of whatever they show...if anything....I can't video on my comp...at least I can't upload it to the net...sorry. But I'll do what I can.

I totally forgot about it and then remembered about 10 minutes ago. Caught all the Ghost Rider stuff and the didn't have to sit through the Jay Leno stuff. Nice!

Great stuff though. I really love that clip of the movie they showed. Nic is excellent. Some of the lines are so good and how he delivers them are great. I really love it.

"I haven't seen you in like 56, 000 years"

Nic's passion for the character is undeniable though. You can see it. That's pretty awesome.

might have been the worst clip to show... needed some Ghost rider action to pump up the audience! lol (and me)

Yeah. Nick's passion for the character is really amazing. We definitely hit the jack pot with getting Nicholas Cage behind the film.

Really loved that motorcycle stunt story- wanted to be Ghost Rider. So he made a hoop of fire and was about to jump his motorcycle through it, before his father stopped him. All because he wanted to be Ghost Rider!!!

The tattoo was one thing, but this guy is extremely passionate.

We've got another Thomas Jane and Hugh Jackman! Actors who love their comic book hero and will do anything to continue their onscreen adventures.

I agree, I was very disappointed with the clip. Don't understand the thinking showing that to get people pumped to see the movie. :csad:

It's a different audience they're marketing too on Jay Leno. These people want to see Nic being all cute and funny... and it did get a good reaction from the crowd... if that means anything.

I think Conan will get the Memphisto & Cage clip.

On the one hand, I can't stand to hear Nicholas Cage talk in interviews. He just seems overly dramatic and a bit cheesy. On the other hand, he's a total comic geek who loves the material, and IMO, a great actor, so I'm hopeful that that love comes across on screen. I'm still on the fence as far as the humor we've seen in clips and commercials, thus far, but I liked the scene with Blackheart and The Hidden in the bar, and the scene with Ghost Rider driving up the side of the office building, then pulling down the helicopter on the roof. The laugh when he stops his bike was pretty freakin' creepy.
