I'm sorry, but JP speaks the truth. All Halle did was whine and blabber on. "Logan, no!" "Logan, wait!" "We work as a team!" "Wah!" "I get a lot of dialogue when no one needs to be saying anything because I'm Halle Berry!"

The lines are commanding, but Halle was whiny. But, then again, Storm was supposed to be a commanding butch with a booming voice like the thunder itself, not a mousy girly girl. And definitely not whiny over Logan like a 13 year old with a hormone problem.

It was just cliche, ya know? I'm bored until something (unimportant) happens to me and pretend it's a big deal. It seemed odd... I've also supported Ratner. I've thought (and still do) that he'd do a good job. I've also supported Penn and Kinberg (as they're really great at Xverse). It just didn't appeal to me.

There were things I did like (storm spinning out). I thought Halle was good. Treating Logan like a child who no one can reason with (as oppose to Halle "whining" which I don't think is the case. Logan wasn't taking it serious).

But OK, I didn't like it. I'm a "troll." I've said countless times already I didn't enjoy the clip, but I'm not judging the entire movie on 15 seconds. The clip didn't appeal to me... It wasn't as I expected and maybe that's why I'm disappointed.

I agree that the scene seemed a bit campy, but I think it's supposed to be. I'm guessing this will be a very early scene, and it will serve much like the X2 scene where Jean and Storm find Nightcrawler in the church or the Pyro/Iceman scene in Storm's class in X1.

Yeah...It kinda also feels that the portion that we saw was only like, a third of the entire scene, so, I'm anticipating to see the entire sequence..

No, it wasn't her voice, but her intonation. Too much desperation and cracking to sound like a commanding presence. Delivery is just as important, if not more so, than the words themselves. And she delivered them poorly. Even if she had a total chimpmunk voice, you can still speak with a commanding tone. She didn't.

And you talk about JP and I as if the same isnt completely true for you and Halle, Bill. I hate hypocrtical people who say they aren't somethign when they are. I don't liek halle. I do like Famke. And as far as Jean is concerned, Famke hasn't let anyone down. Halle has. Facts, dear. Face them and get over yourself. not a singel review speaks ill of Famke Janssens performance in this franchise. Plenty do of halle. But I must have wrote them all because I have an agenda. If you dont like what I have to say, no one is making you reply to me. Ignore me, I don't care. I'm betting the Colossus FX will be enhanced. That's why we've seen very little of Iceman and Colossus to this point. This "down to the wire" stuff has me worried. 27 days and counting and far less to make worldwide distribution prints.
