Talk Show Appearences

i hope his appearance is related to x-men the last stand :(
Has to be - he has nothing else to promote. Besides, The Tonight Show website has XMen The Last Stand next to his name for tonight's show.

maybe a broadway show or something......???
He's not doing his arena tour until August and I don't think he would promote that here since it's in Australia, although I bet it will come up tonight. He may mention the Tony Awards and maybe going back to Broadway NEXT YEAR but that's not why he would be on the show tonight.

BTW McKellans appearance will be for the whole show after the monologue starts.

The show starts at 11:00 on HBO and is an hour long. It reairs a couple times during the week.

Actually probably not. Real Time usually ends 6-3 minutes before 12, it's rare when the first guest on the tonight show comes out before midnight. Everything about Leno blow including the fact that he holds up the only potentially interesting thing about the show, the guests, until a half hour into it.

good point...will have to be fast with my clicker though

Yeah, but isn't Real Time mostly a debate show.?. So who knows if Mckellan will say more than a minute or two about the movie.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a clip on Real Time....

I will die if Jackman brings a X3 clip with him on Leno...It'll probably be his last time on Leno until after X3 is out...

I'm not too excited about his clip, cause like Jan said, I expect it to be the showwest clip of him entering the danger room and seeing the chaos.

Expect THE UNEXPECTED!... :p

I kinda doubt it...I dunno...That clip was supposed to be exclusive only for Showest...Maybe they'll show something new that'll be more exclusively Wolverine-focused and perhaps with some action elements to get the people excited?...I dunno...It kinda feels like X3 is too far away for them to start showing clips now..

Actors promoting their movies usually come on with clips when their movie is either already released or will be released in just a couple of days/weeks...We're talking almost a whole month here...

I'm getting a little worried...Just a little, only because I'm not really expecting a clip to be shown now..

Yeah, Real Time is a politics debate/comedy show. They don't show movie clips. I'm guessing this is more a 'DaVinci Code' plug than an 'X-Men' plug, considering the subject matter with DaVinci has been a lot more controversial. But you never know!

And I didn't realize he was a guest this week, so I'll have to check it out.

Will any1 record the whole interview of the cast and crew in sci fi?

Heh...That's like 3 weeks from now..

I'm sure that those of you that won't be able to watch WILL be able to see it sometime afterwards eventually..

Does anyone know if Hugh has anything else to promote other than X3 to be on Leno?

he's got lots of upcoming shows this year... the fountain, Scoop, Happy Feet, Flushed Away, The Prestige... and our very own X3. lol. ;)

I hope it's not like Rebecca's visit to Leno.
It shouldn't be like that. I mean what else does Jackman have to talk about other than X-Men?

I watch Bill Maher and at the most Bill will mention he stars in the upcoming movie X3. There will be no clips or interviews or anything like that. Its basically talking and debating on world issues.

His family? Uhhh, whatever? Leno is great at getting a majority of his guests to talk about stuff OTHER than the movie/thing they are promoting.
