Talk Shows Return!

Ferguson seems like he wants to go out on top. It took Conan and Kilborn much longer to find their groove then Ferguson. But it would be great to have Stewart host the LS and Colbert LLS.

I don't know about on top. I highly doubt people even watch his show. There's more people out there that know conan after leno, or even carson after conan. I doubt there are people that even know who ferguson is. I do agree that it took a while longer for the others, but i think they helped ferguson, and future hosts because of their contribution.

If what you said is true, and conan comes to tonight show, and stewart goes to late show, could you imagine the hilarity that will ensue if and when they do crossover shows. THAT would be hilarious. Hard to pull off, but that previous "fight" makes me think they could get really have fun.

It's just to bad we won't ever see Leno vs. Letterman duke it out for real. Then again it wouldn't be as hilarious as Conan vs. Stewart vs. Colbert.

That behind the scenes of the brawl needs to be a part of a new DVD Set that NBC should make called:

"The Best of Light Night with Conan O'Brien: The Strike Shows."

Well not "on top" compared to the present talk show hosts but for the what he's done with LLS. He's improved the ratings from Kilby, brought in a female audience and is about 600,000 viewers away from matching Conan. Conan has a larger fanbase, one would hope after 15 years, but his ratings are stalled. The fanbase doesn't tune in 5 times a week, everyone it seems take rotations.

Conan goes underneath the crowd, eats a sandwich, runs into Abe Vigoda underneath the crowd and sticks his head up on a stairwell.

Also showed pictures of The Vivino Brothers.

That's all, folks. The strike is over. It was fun while it lasted. I am, however, a little disappointed with the final sketch. Yea...walking through the section under the audience was interesting but the weakest thing he did. I think this would have been a good opportunity to FINALLY do the dance show. I've been waiting for that FOR YEARS. Unless thats how he plans on ending the show a year from now. That would be great.

I do. :csad:

Dancing, while wearing a fake strike beard with the German Disco Light Show playing and then ending it with Showmanship where he plays guitar with the band.

And he also should have started the show with a ride down the Zipline.

Abe Vigoda living under the audience section was :applaud

fake beard? I didn't know that. it looked real to me. I missed the episode where he changes.

No guys, I think he was saying that's how he should end the series. Unless he grows the beard for the series finale. But then you would notice it during the episodes leading up to it.

It would be his second strike beard. Maybe gray in color this time. No stache.

Like what he would wear if he ever does a sketch where he dresses as an old poor guy. Like he would get from the prop room.

Am I crazy or has Leno had Larry the Cable Guy as a guest for two straight nights?

Tiki Barber and Kevin Bacon are apparently writers on The Colbert Report. Good to have them back.
