Yeah, I’m thoroughly out of the loop on his shows (not really for lack of interest, there’s just so much **** to watch), but… telling native/indigenous stories doesn’t really seem to be something he’s been applauded for, has it?

To my understanding it's a big part of his work but I am unclear how well regarded it is. Heard some positive stuff about how he handled it in Wind River but nothing about his seventeen Yellowstone shows.

He blames Rutherford Falls for him not getting any emmy's for his shows.

Wind River was well-regarded, but then Yellowstone has received mixed feedback in that regard, and his comments about Rutherford Falls of all shows were really weird
