Iron Man TDK too dark for kids??? Iron Man... good for kids???

Hi, my kids really enjoyed this movie, their ages are 7, 11 & 13 and I wouldn't have gone to see it without them! just an indication of how much kids loved this film, the toys in the local toy store have all but sold out (just the large Mk III talking IM left) I live in Limerick, Ireland. Though I do feel that Batman Begins was too much for my young fella's at the time, they are still looking forward to Dark Knight, just to see the Joker.

IMO,from the sound of it,I think you should leave one of the kids home with a babysitter when you go and see The Dark Knight, well not all of them. No offense though. I just got a feeling it will be too much for you're 7 year old kid. :yay:

Oh,and it's your choice,I'm not forcing you to not bring your 7 year old with you to see The Dark Knight. If you take him or her then so be it.

No...take the kid...if its too much for him and you have to leave, then the theater still has your money, then you have to go again by yourself, which will give the movie another 7 bucks.

All parents should follow this example.

Nah, he HAS to see it, there's a pattern in my home with Super-Hero movies :-

1. Go watch movie.
2. Buy as many of the associated toys as possible.
3. Get the Special Edition DVD.
4. Dad works loads of over-time to pay for it!!!

The good thing though is I get to choose the time he can see it, normally after school on a week-day (mid-afternoon) the movies' normally quieter at this time and free of mobile phone users who 'forget' to switch off their phones...
