"I believe in Harvey Dent" was surprisingly relevant. I thought it was awesome how it tied into the movie that well. Not the rallies in particular, but the fact that Dent so powerfully represented hope in Gotham and why Batman felt the need to take the fall for him at the end.

Actually this is a really good point. Not only was it a hint of ARG story, but it wound up as a supplement to the movie itself, adding a small dash of emotional involvement with the characterization of a major role.

I would love to see some more newspaper like stuff brought back from the TDK days of the viral marketing. Catwoman sightings and reported thefts as articles would be terrific. That is if she is Catwoman by the beginning of this film.

They could, if WB changes their minds. They never did officially close the TDK virals - otherwise we would have gotten some sort of credits from 42E and they'd come out to say hi. When the TDK ARG unofficially ended, WB wanted to leave their options open which is why I'm still referring to them as

I'm not sure how the copyright works, but I think that 42E would be using the license from WB to use the Batman character names and such. I'm not sure of the details of who has ownership of what. But WB is still their client, so if they want to open things up again, they have that option.

I think/hope it was me being so deeply entrenched in the TDK ARG, but it was almost creepy how the Obama campaign mirrored the Dent campaign, with all the hope and change. Luckily real life isn't as operatic as Nolanworld, I don't expect Obama to go off the deep end.

Yeah, I think they'll go the super-cheap route and use Facebook and Twitter instead. But we'll see....

I was looking at the comments on the fake viral Youtube channel and someone pointed out that the chant is Spanish. The person goes on to say that the chant translates to "Bane Bane Kill him, Kill him, Bane Bane Kill him , Kill him..." etc. Could it really be Spanish? I went to Google Translate and "Kill him" is "Matarlo" in Spanish, and it kind of sounds like that's what the chant is saying.
