Warner Bros Acquires Teddy Pendergrass Life Rights, With Tyrese Gibson To Star In Movie

WB has acquired the life rights of iconic Philadelphia-born R&B singer-songwriter Teddy Pendergrass, a movie project that has Tyrese Gibson set to star in the lead role.

It feels like they've been talking about a Teddy P biopic for years. Tyrese is a horrible choice, looks nothing like the man and his voice has deteriorated over the years.

I'm just surprised to learn that Tyrese is a 6 time Grammy nominee. Didn't know he was a singer.

Tbh, I only know him as Josh Duhamel's buddy from the Bayformers as I haven't seen the recent F&F movies.
