I think what should happen now is the writers turn the tables on the machines and steal AI's idea and make the Unknown a villain in Wonka 2. It can be the Vader to Grandpa Joe's Palpatine but that's beside the point.

Just saw this and hmm. I'm surprised this performed really well at the box office.

The whole thing was just okay and the story wasn't really interesting. So Willy wanted to open up a chocolate shop, and the antagonists were three men who wanted to monopolize the chocolate business in that city or town? The antagonists weren't interesting and were just random businessmen. Even the connection to the female lead, wasn't interesting enough.

There was this overthetop scene in which they just had a musical number but when the customers had their physical appearance changed, they tore the place down.

The whole thing was very Vanilla. Like the visuals of the film weren't as interesting as the story.
