*I would bring back Pete Ploszek as Leo. His voice was perfect and Knoxville was too distracting. Failed stunt casting.

*I would also recast Raphael. Ritchson could not pull off tough guy New Yorker. Maybe they can strike a deal with Nolan North or cast a more appropriate unknown. The original 90's movie had a better Raphael imo.

*Casey Jones. The movie was carried by the Turtles. All the human characters sucked. I understand the budget won't allow for the CGI characters in every scene, So we need someone to entertain and provide some nice action scenes in between there appearances.

*Krang or at least hints of dimension X, space travel. This will hopefully open the door for the Utroms, Triceraton, etc. Maybe even pop a door open into Usagi Yojimbo's universe's. Shared universe, spin offs.

I actually like this!

Stephen Amell has the vigilante schtick down cold (he's a natural fit for this) and he's a great guy in real life, so it's nice to see him land a blockbuster role. I'm going to be pissed if they make Casey (one of my favorite fictional characters) play second fiddle to Will Arnett.

Elias Koteas is going to be a TOUGH act to follow, though. He was pitch perfect as Casey.

Hopefully Amell will be less wooden as Casey and not be Oliver Jones! I don't think this is a great role choice, but maybe he's a fan, wish him luck.

Casey is my favorite male TMNT character (Karai is my favorite female one btw). I'm totally cool with this choice, he's got the "badass vigilante" thing done pat by this point.

This franchise and all involved could do considerably, considerably, CONSIDERABLY worse than Amell. In fact, I feel like he might thrive a bit more here than he does on Arrow because I'm assuming this leans a bit more towards comedy, whereas Arrow requires him to be so stone-faced a lot of the time.

I think it's a very adequate entry into the world of blockbuster-cinema for Amell. This is the first thing I hear about this sequel that is kinda' interesting.

I love the casting of Smell as CJ. Big fan of Arrow and Smell certainly has the physicality and fighting prowess for the role. His acting isn't the best but I think this will stretch him more than Arrow does and I look forward to seeing him in the role.

I think that he's a better actor than a lot of people give him credit for. When Arrow actually let's him show more sides to her personality, he does rather well. And he seems like a funny, smart guy in interviews/social media.

And I REALLY hope that they bring Karai back and give her more to do this time. I was thrilled to finally see her in a live-action film (and the actress was fine), but she got next to nothing to do in the first film.

I don't think Amell is a bad actor either, I just think like others said that he isn't given a lot to do in Arrow.

THey would've been better off with making Oliver more charismatic like other incarnations

I've never seen Amell in anything but I could see him carrying the Casey Jones "look" if nothing else.

I remember how hesitant I was when Fox was first announced but I ended up actually really liking how April was handled in the first one.

Amell is quite the casting catch!
I was likely already going to go but this essentially cements it for me.

The first one wasn't perfect and I'm hoping for some tweaks in the right direction for the sequel vs a slide towards what was wrong.
