1) What's the first comic you bought on a monthly basis? Do you remember the first issue that got you hooked?

Star Wars. As a kid, that movie was everything in 1977, and I had to buy every issue after I saw they put out issue #7, continuing the story beyond the movie. My first issues were a three pack, containing issues #1-3.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group?

If you don't recognize my avatar, it's Prince from his Batdance music video. After 1999, I got everything before and everything he'd put out after.

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about?

It's for my son, but I went out and got him Lego Star Wars II for the X-Box 360 today. He'll go ape over it.

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning?

I have tons of stuff that would be embarrassing to admit...but, I'm not one who minds embarrassing himself. I listen to all kinds of music, and I'll watch any kind of movie/tv show. Right now, I'm watching Gilmore Girls (and loving it), and in my cd collection, I admit to having Spice Girls.

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought?

In the mid-80's, I got Amazing Fantasy 15 for $100.00. It's not in the best condition; but, it's still pretty good, and just nice to have.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life?

I know a lot of people don't like serious questions, but I like to get to know the people who I read posts from on a daily basis. My worst day was the moment I realized my marriage was over.


7) What's one of the best days?

Best days, hands down, was the birth of each of my kids. They are my life. I'll tell you, though, the scariest moment in your life is when you're in a crowded mall one week before Christmas, and your kid walks off for 20 minutes.

8) What's your favorite Non-Marvel comic?

Right now, the miniseries, American Way. It's that good. On-going, I'm really loving Girls, and can't wait to see what happens to the people in that town. I hope, like with Bone, the Luna Bros. have an ending and schedule for it.

9) Have you ever met anyone from The Hype?

Nope. But, I do consider a few my friends.

10) What's your biggest "pet peeve" on the Hype?

I hate numerous threads about the same thing. Civil War, Annihilation, ect...Seems people just have to do a little searching, it's not too hard.

7) What's one of the best days? Sometime in October last year, I met someone important for the first time.

Uncanny X-Men. I can't say I was really hooked, but the Holy War arc was my first arc. I didn't really get hooked on a comic until I started reading DC (JSA #59 and The Flash #207)

Singer: Billy Joel or Frank Sinatra
Band: The Who or Led Zeppelin

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about?
I'm currently working out the purchase on a new Electric guitar. That's pretty cool.

The first issue of the 2nd X-Men series for ten bucks. The only reason is that I got it signed by Chris Claremont a few hours later.

The day my grandfather died.

The final night of my group of friends before they all went off the college. So much fun.

1) What's the first comic you bought on a monthly basis? Do you remember the first issue that got you hooked? Amazing Spider-Man. Uhmm, PP:SM #22. The issue after the "Death of the Chameleon" where he decides to do some stand up. Yeah, I don't know why, but that was a good issue for me. Maybe it was the friendship they showed between Spidey and the Torch, or maybe it was the bank robbing mimes. Not really certain.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group? Changes often. Right now I'm really digging the band called Muse. Overall, System of a Down is pretty high on the list right now.

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about? I just got Absolute Kingdom Come today. It is so freaking Beautiful and I feel better than everybody else who doesn't have a copy. Compare your lives to mine and then kill yourselves!

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning? Well if I'm embarrassed to admit I own it, why would I admit it now? I think I got a cheap love doll for Christmas one year. I mean seriously, like I would own anything like that that didn't cost at least $100 bucks.

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought? I don't know. I got the first Deadshot mini from the 80's in it's entirety for about five bucks.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life? Every day is always pretty crappy. I'd have to say the crappiest day was the first time I got caught playing the mommy and daddy dance solo. That was an especially crappy day if there ever was one.

7) What's one of the best days? The day I met my ex. I had found a hundred dollar bill, and went to the local erotic bookstore where I met the girl of my dreams....at least for the nine and a half months we were together where she wasn't bat s**t insane that is.

8) What's your favorite Non-Marvel comic? I'm gonna go with Walking Dead over from Image.

10) What's your biggest "pet peeve" on the Hype? Zombie Bastards. You know, guys who only read one particular company or only read about certain characters and have there heads shoved too far up their asses to try and check out something new. yeah, that really pisses me off.

Believe it or not. This French Gal prefers Aerosmith. And Coltrane.

Dodge Viper. Owning American cars in Europe is always kind of weird, and always a head turner.

I don't know. Maybe what I thought was a sword from some old time for a high price that turned out to be a fake.

None. I usually don't bargain shop.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life?
When my father slapped down a list of phone numbers, and said I should get a job at one of those places as it better suited my talents. Apparently his smartest child was a better escort than a scientist. That and the day my bird died.

7) What's one of the best days?
The very next week when I outshone my dad's "brilliance" by completing his project with far less problems than he could muster in the year he'd been working on it, proving the child was superior to the parent.

The Walking Dead

Nope.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group? Tie between The Beatles and Led Zeppelin

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about? Some REALLY good herb...

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning? This really crappy portable c.d. player. It sucked RIGHT after I opened it.

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought? My "Miracle Man" comics, which I bought for $3.25 each.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life? Maybe the day I peed on myself on the basement stairs at my local comicbook shop and then found out I didn't have that extra pair of pants in my car to change into while I went to sit down at a restaurant.

7) What's one of the best days? My friends and I went to Empire, MI for a Dunegrass and Blues festival then walked over 2 miles singing Beatles songs with a band of strangers we slowly accumulated during that weekend. After that we climbed a 450 ft. dune only to hike a little ways off the trail and indulge in *ahem* the excellent vegetation. Then we jumped down the dune to the tune of Super Mario Bros., stripped down to our shorts and swam in Lake Michigan.

1) What's the first comic you bought on a monthly basis? Do you remember the first issue that got you hooked? The UK [A4 print] version of Ultimate Spider-Man, from issue #2 (which pee'd me off to no end, when I realised I was actually enjoying the comic and was suddenly ten issues in without realising!) The title then converted to half USM, half UXM... you get that with basically all UK reprints.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group? toughie, really... I'm an actor by trade, so I try to keep up with music and musical theatre if I can... but the last couple of months I've lagged behind! Going by my CD collection, I have all Robbie Williams's albums...

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about? Heh, I haven't the money to buy anything impressive. Although I did get a Silver Rolo for a girl i liked about a month ago... just a small silver one on a chain, in a red box with "my Last Rolo" on the side. Cheesey? Yes. Successful?... YES.

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning? ... Did I not mention the Robbie CD's? The first thing that springs to mind is this floral patterned shirt that I loved, and everyone else hated. I wore it twice, then realised everyone else was actually right!

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought? Oh god. Umm.. Abercombie & Fitch jumper for £10 on Portobello Road Market...?! In terms of comics, loads of bargain TPB's from Amazon.co.uk... Nothing major.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life? When I was near the end of my fourth year at 6th form college, heading towards my twentieth birthday, and I realised I was nowhere near where i'd wanted to be at that time in my life. It put me on a downer for weeks. That, or the day when I was 6 and got my toe sliced off under a door, which then prevented my family going on holiday to America for the first time. GUILT...

7) What's one of the best days? Recently? Going on stage in front of 1,000 people in my first professional theatre job, right in the centre of London

8) What's your favorite Non-Marvel comic? I only buy one non-marvel comic right now, and that's... *shudders*... All-Star Batman and Robin. However, I do own things like Watchmen, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which i LOVE.

10) What's your biggest "pet peeve" on the Hype? when people start needless arguments for pointless reasons, or when the most innocent or well-intended post gets a violently sarcastic or degrading response. REALLY irritates me.

1) What's the first comic you bought on a monthly basis? Do you remember the first issue that got you hooked?

I used to buy a lot of comics (I think the Moench/Jones Batman were the first comics I bought so around 1992) but never on a monthly basis. Until around 1998 when I got into Green Lantern. I'd known about the character for a while but one day someone sat me down and explained "this guy who was the best Lantern ever - went mental and ruined the whole organisation. Now this kid who is completly alone and untrained is trying to carry the legacy on and no-one is giving him the time of day" and that really sold it for me it sounded like an excellent idea for a comic series. So I bought the trades and bought the comics around #100 when Hal and Kyle teamed up. Then I've been hooked ever since.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group?

The Mountain Goats are by far my favourite band.

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about?

Urm, the last thing I really bought was a 4 day pass to the UK's largest LAN. Because I am so highskill.

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning?

I bought the whole of Next Generation on DVD and was afraid of telling people for ages... then I decided that it rocks so much I have to tell everyone.

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought?

I got every single Hellboy trade for £30 which is so nice. I havn't got any great single issues. I bought a Ray/Green Lantern crossover for 3p. That was nice.

6) Skip if it's too serious, but what's one of the crappiest days of your life?

Probably one of the times I got kicked out of uni.

7) What's one of the best days?

I kind of rate the best days I've had as really mundane days that were so stress and worry free that they were amazingly enjoyable, days when everything goes right. Although the day I found out I had graduated from uni I nearly blew up.

8) What's your favorite Non-Marvel comic?

Currently probably Ion but as it isn't an ongoing i'll say Checkmate or Jonah Hex.

Not really.

The Gantz miniseries is a great anime. And anyone who's into shows where every episode a different character gets his head blown off should buy this.

Man, that was AGES ago, more than 2 decades! It was probably a Spider-Man title. Just about the time Secret Wars II came out. And no, I don't remember my first issue.

Uhmmm... from a long list, I'd have to say Def Leppard, Aerosmith and Nirvana. And Weird Al Yankovic, Ronan Keating, Meast Loaf, Robbie Williams...

I guess the day the NY Giants beat the Vikings in 2000. Went straight to A.C from the game.

1) What's the first comic you bought on a monthly basis? Do you remember the first issue that got you hooked? I believe it was DC Vs. Marvel.

2) Who's your favorite singer/group? Currently Relient K, Cartel and im loving Angels and Airwaves.

3) Last cool thing you bought that you would like to brag about? Justice League Season 2

4) Name something you bought that you'd be embarrassed to admit to owning? Im not really sure I can say that I get embarrassed about owning something I spent money on.

5) What comic do you consider the "biggest steal" you've ever bought? Umm not realizing that it there was a sale on New Arrivals at my store and getting all my pulls for the month at 20% off!

Seeing my dad after like 2 months of not seeing him.
