I hate how they feel they need to come up with a cool new feature for the Terminator every time. You just aren't going to top the T-1000 so don't even try.

I dunno, the idea of a liquid metal Terminator being able to divide itself up is a pretty natural and cool progression in my eyes.

I agree. The T3 villain was ridiculous in terms of it's Swiss-army knife hands, rotating hips, f'n corkscrew finger etc. That was just comical.

First R Rated Terminator since T3. Crazy the studios making Salvation and Genisys wussed out so bad.

Everything sounds good so far. With Hamilton, Cameron and Millers involvement, I have high hopes.

She was offered the chance to return at least for T3, and turned it down because she didn't like the script, so I like to think she isn't returning here just for the money.

I still think Salvation had some redeemable traits. Nowhere near T1 or T2 level, but there was enough there to enjoy even if the movie wasn't great.

I actually liked the idea of explaining Arnold’s older look by saying he went back further in time and his skin ages like normal. Too bad they wasted it in Genisys and can’t use it here.

Salvation is more just a superfluous tangent than anything else.

Plus it had a chance to go all-out apocalyptic future war, and it waters it down. People aren't desperately scurrying around like rats like the glimpses we got in T1 and T2, they have military bases out in the open, ffs. It just doesn't fit the previously established imagery.
