Looks better than I thought it would.

Guess that explains why Reese 'fell from the sky' when he time traveled as oppossed to everyone else just popping up kneeling.

That bothered me since I was a kid.

WTF was that **** , why is the t-1000 chinese and that end shot of arnold is pathetic , the trailer had no element of dread just generic scfi crap, no stand out music theme there is nothing and i mean nothing that makes me excited for this film. Deeply dissapointed. Can't believe the real Terminator fans are accepting this junk.

The actor is Korean, actually. Not that it makes much of a never mind.

I'm confused as hell from that trailer.

Looks as bad as expected.

Come with me if you want to live. They actually pay people to write these stuff. And that Emilia Clarke delivery....

Could of been better...

Looks horrendous. Who would have thought?

And when are they going to learn that you can't make a good Terminator movie without James Cameron?

Call me crazy, but anyone who knows me on here knows I am a HUGE Terminator fan (I know literally ALL the words to T1 and could act out the movie by myself), but I liked that trailer. I think it looks really interesting and will bring a fresh take to the franchise.

It looks like a good summer action movie. I think they're kinda convoluting it by trying to pull a Trek '09 with the ****ed up timeline but I'll wait it out.

Oh lawd another female butt shot as a poster.

Yeah, but what a butt!

I think this is the best approach they could have gone with at this point. I just hope they manage to pull it off like Trek '09 and DOFP did.

As someone who has been skeptical of film the trailer looks decent and some on twitter and elsewhere are being too hard on it.

We are obviously getting future war sequence at begining more inline with what cameron hinted at In first 2 films. It will make salvation look like even more of a joke.

My guess is further in future skynet sent terminator to kill sarah as child having failed in killing her in 1984 and failing to kill john as boy.The arnold here was sent back to save her and had to take care of her after other terminator killed her parents.

It looks like the t-1000 here is trying to prevent Reece from carrying his mission to protect sarah.

This is like trek 2009 and DOFP a sequel that uses time travel to 'reboot' franchise.

Unlike MCG with salvation i go sense alan taylor at least wtached first 2 films for inspiration.

Arnold being downplayed in trailer shows he is not the draw he once was to GA.

They're definitely trying to Trek '09 this thing, but I think it's gonna create a lot more headaches with this story/franchise than it did with that one. Overall, it didn't look as bad as it could have, imo, but it also didn't look like the great franchise savior they want it to be.

I know right... Going to wait for red box. Looks pretty bad.

My issue is that trailer didn't seem to make much sense as to what it was trying to say.

I liked what I saw. Music wasn't crazy iconic, but I don't really care because I don't think trailer music should even be noticeable at all, just complimentary. Digging the new timeline aspect, interested to see how they pull it off without everything becoming too confusing. Future aesthetic was pretty cool and more what I've always hoped to see with that setting. Still kinda wish they'd have gotten someone more unique looking for Reese, but we'll see how it plays out.

All that said, I'm in.

I actually liked what I saw from the trailer. Looking forward to it now

The trailer didnt make it look that bad. Even to the detractors I'd be surprised if you didnt like those Future War scenes in the beginning.

Storyline wise this could go either way. Obvious statement, but with time travel they can really make s*** convoluted and it looks like this will be.

John sent Kyle back, but some how he gets sent to an alternate timeline where the Terminator tried to kill Sarah a long time ago. But now there's a T-1000 model played by the Storm Shadow guy who tries to kill Kyle and Sarah.

I can see it not making a lot of sense.

The trailer wasnt that bad, except the obvious: "I'll be back" and "Come with Me if you want to live." Stop with the callbacks it's lazy. And that goes for all movies

Did anyone else think the trailer was rather soulless?
