His face is just awful in this picture. He looks like he's doing an imitation of Imhotep from Stephen Sommers' Mummy franchise.

Does anyone think the negative feedback of the images/storyline will prompt Paramount to maybe release a trailer or something themselves to be like "woah this isn't as **** as you may think it is"?

Yes. I'm usually a fair person but wow, it's hard to stay positive on this. And I haven's seen ONE positive reaction to the EW photo shoot thus far.

That's what I thought. Normally a studio wouldn't give an f but this is the first thing we've seen (even though I know these pics in no way a reflection of the film) but this is a bad reaction for a franchise that to some is already unsaveable.

yeah because the frame of reference is so limiting for this movie AND the trajectory of the franchise. All we've got are these EW photos right?

Then what else do we go on? The last two failed movies in a fading franchise? The last good Terminator movie is more than 20 years old now. So yeah, they're in a pickle.

Also, Arnie's career isn't going so well right now.

I highly doubt another bad Terminator movie will hurt Arnolds career

I didn't think my excitement for something could be CRUSHED this quickly, how could I have been stupid enough to be excited in the first place? I still want to see it, just as I wanted to see T3 and Salvation...but I might wait for word of mouth and home video release to check it out.

This one sums up my reaction after looking through the last few pages, whoever is behind promotion for this movie needs firing for signing off on these as the first look at the new Terminator film.

This is the only image that doesn't suck. The worst one is the dr who guy, but the fact all of their guns seem to be firing like proton packs is bizarre.

He doesn't even look angry, or intense, or anything. He literally just opened his mouth as wide as he could while keeping the rest of his face expressionless.

Im curious as to what scenes we will be revisiting from T1-T2 because from earlier comments by people involved they said that we would be going to a few moments from the originals yet the latest comments are all about the T1 T800 first appearance

As everybody's said so many times over the years, I think the time for a true, Cameron-esque Terminator 3 would have been in the mid-late 90's. Has anyone else read the T2 novelisation? The opening chapter (expanded, of course) would have been perfect. A prequel with Michael Biehn in the Future War, getting to know John, capturing and reprogramming Uncle bob, the resistance taking over Skynet's compound and sending Reese and Uncle Bob back to protect Sara and young John when they find the time displacement machine.

Yeh Im still confused as to how the whole time travelling part went down, iv seen the story boards but it doesnt explain enough

It's funny how much this film is reeling from the leaked plot stuff... no one except this forum and some Terminator Fansites had heard of this movie until the other day and now they're trying so hard to 'look cool and awesome' and let everyone know this shame of a flick is coming out soonish.

That's just embarassing.

The studio needs to get on damage control asap.

I'm not sure if this has already been discussed but on the Terminator files forum there is a link to a terminator fans website which has a supposed Russian translated script leak from 2013 which seems like it adds up to everything we have been hearing so far.

Find it for your self if you want to be spoilt. I read it and cant help but believe it. It sounds just like what Hollywood would do wit a Terminator reboot

^ Though I have a feeling I already know the answer to this - What did you think? Good/Bad?

the original two movies were written and realesed in times when ''less is more'' was the gold standard. this new script fits into our times and how blockbusters are created.

we all know what the world wants from a new terminator movie. a simple basic summer blockbuster plot set in the future war. not at the beginning of the war with normal machine guns. give us a movie that is 50% future( in Genisys we will get Camron's laser guns) and 50% young Sarah Connor. its so simple soooooooooo simple.

Based off the promo images and the plot details, I think this feels more like a TV show than a film. Fingers crossed this manages to be better than Salvation at the very least. But who knows?
