Worthington was fine in Salvation. He was also fine in Avatar.
Who?
You can crap all over Sam Worthington as you please but he was fine in TS ( the overall quality of the movie is another matter ), he was even better than Bale.

Sam Worthington is a charisma vacuum. Why Cameron wanted him to be the star of the Avatar franchise, I will never know. You can complain about Jai Courtney as much as you want, but while he isn't anything special, at least he isn't THE lead. Worthington has been the lead of plenty of movies and he's just as bad, if not even worse than Jai Courtney.
I wonder if Cameron will even actually see this, or at least see it right away.
I won't argue on why you consider him the lead, in theory I guess he is, but it's more of a co-lead situation where him, Emilia Clarke and Arnold all share that space. But in movies like Avatar or Clash of the Titans, Worthington is clearly THE lead.
What's crazy is that Sam Worthington outacted Bale in Terminator Salvation. All the heart in that movie was his.

It was? I don't remember a thing about it.
Basically, this.I think Worthington is more likable than Courtney, personally.
