There are so many fantasy, sci-fi and superhero comics that are turned into movies these days that we tend to forget what other options there are. The Italian long-running (since the 50s or 60s) Western comic Tex Willer should be adapted to the big screen! I guess it would have had better chances for funding and publicity in the Spaghetti Western era but this comic has alot of stuff going on in it, and they dont do too many Western adaptions these days anyhow. Apart from Blueberry and the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens, are there any?

Tex Willer needs his movie or TV show now! :yay:

I suppose you've seen the terrible Tex Willer movie from the mid-80s.
They were planning a Tv series, but the movie was so bad received that the series was killed.
They're currently in post production of a Lucky Luke movie.

Wow, I never knew they had made a Tex film! Thanks for mentioning that. I was surprised that there were no movies based on that comic, since Italy is the land of Spaghetti Westerns, but lo and behold, there is one! Gotta get it now! Too bad it seems like a bad movie. I might enjoy it anyway.

However, that doesnt render another movie uwnanted. It's time for another Unforgiven, Open Range or The Quick And The Dead except based on Tex.

Lucky Luke I am not so interested in. Never was fond of the comic books, or the Terence Hill movies. It was wither Asterix or Lucky Luke for me, and the little Gaull won. But I'll keep an eye for this new movie. If it isnt too childish and cartoonish I might like it. Always in the mood for a good western!

I love Lucky Luke, unfortunately this teaser doesn't look that great though.
