"That 70s Show" finale

I missed it, I think I was watching another finale and I failed to set the damn TiVo.

^You should be glad you missed it.

How did they explain Forman and Kelso coming back.

Neither were explained. Kelso just showed up saying that he had to spend the final hours of the 70's with his friends while Eric came home from Africa just before the clock struck midnight after missing his first flight. The finale was pretty lame, but it's still sad to see the show go. They still didn't answer where Fez was from or what his actual name is.

One last thing...GREAT idea getting rid of that goofy Napoleon Dynamite-looking fool that was supposed to be Topher's replacement halfway through the show last night. I hated him.

It doesn't make sense that she would end up with Fez.

Why not, He Banged Lohan, JLH, Hillary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Anne Murray, Paris Hilton, Fabio, Ashlee Simpson, Amanda Bynes,......:rollyes:

Wilmer is Fez's God!

Tell you the truth, I'm saddened less by the ending - and that finale was pretty damn lame - but I'm saddened more by the fact that it didn't end sooner. It would have been so much better to see the show go out while it was still consistently funny instead of watching it limp to the finish line. It also would have been better for them to have ended it when Donna/Laura Prepon was still a hot red head instead of an ugly, trashy blonde.

In other words, they should have ended it back in 2004.

I missed it, Jackie and Fez together is fine a sDonna said that to her afew times in earlier seasons. Donna not being a redhead for the finale upsets me :(. Was eric there? or Just Kutcher and Randy?

I heard that Mandy Moore is disputing the claim that he deflowered her.:o

 How could she resist that Latino hottie. Is she disputing the whole lost virginity or just that he had the honors?

JLH denies sleeping with him as well

Now can someone answer my previous question?

Despite what everone else thinks I liked the finale. I agree season 8th blew chunks. But Iliked how they wrapped everyting up. One last trip to the awater tower and one last circle. And, of coure hyde's waterboat. Good times.

I'm going to miss this show. Been watching it since I was 11.

I liked that it felt a little more like older episodes, but probably only because Kelso and Eric came back...

as for Eric and Donna
it's pretty much left up in the air as to what happens to them, but it's more believable than the final moments of FRIENDS

The first half of it, the half with Justin Long from WAITING and JEEPERS CREEPERS was pretty lame and pointless...like most of the episodes without Kelso and Eric, although I did enjoy some of the resolutions of characters, such as Hyde getting the store. The scene with Kitty showing the house and when Kitty and Red finally decide
not to leave
was a genuinely good moment, probably because the actors were rather emotional about the show ending in the first place.

Bottom line...first half of the hour = not good...second half = more like the older episodes that were so great although not as much of an absolution as most people would PROBABLY like...

since I missed it, how did they get rid of Randy? I hated him

What I thought was interesting was that they said at the taping of the final episode after everyone took their bow Topher left immediately while everyone else was still there.

I guess he wanted to get it done with quickly.

^Yeah Topher showed up at the very end when Donna was in the driveway all sad,and then Topher was then in the basement sitting in the circle, and that was it.

I'm just going to pretend that season 8 never existed.

Why was she sad?
...And please tell me Randy got hit by a car, because I hated him so much.

From what I remember Randy just disappeared after Donna told him for the 2nd time that they would never be more than friends. I would have liked to see Eric "accidentally" hit him with his car when arriving from the airport.

^Because she was hoping Eric was going to show up,but he missed his flight, she thought that he was never going to come back.So she was crying in the driveway when he showed up.

I don't think there is one person who liked the Randy character.

Since I rarely watched the 8th season for obvious reasons (i.e lack of Foreman and Kelso) where did Randy come from in the first place?

I believe he was taken in by the Foreman's at first until he moved into his own apartment or something. Apparently his parents are longtime friends of the Foreman's. That's the story pretty much. Maybe I'm wrong.

No, I believe Hyde just met him in the record store and they started to hang out. That's really it.

Anyway, it wasn't too bad. The montage of Ass vs. Foot jokes made up for anything that wasn't funny in the show. I'm just glad that they ended it with most of the original cast there.

Whatever the case is, he sucked and I think we can ALL agree on that.
