That Awkward Moment When ...

A friend of mine started a group like this on Facebook and much hilarity ensued, so I thought I'd try it out here. Basically you just post any kind of awkward moment that has happened to you or someone else. I'll start:

- That awkward moment when you're acting out a scene and your scene partner delivers his line "Swear to me" in the Bale Batman voice and nearly makes you break character.

- That awkward moment when your mom moves her room around and says she's been having nightmares after you secretly filmed a murder scene in her room.

- That awkward moment when your professor invites you to his office to get back work from last semester, only to have him invite you to sleep over and take naps there during your breaks in between classes.

I should've mentioned that the professor was a guy and would constantly say I looked good in front of the whole class.

I also think any moment where your friend says something, you laugh thinking it's a joke, and then you realise by the look on their face it's not a joke so you shut up - is awkward

Oh and not one of my best moments:

That awkward moment where your waitressing and you realise you've just spilled gravy on a woman's white skirt and she hasn't noticed, and you pause wondering whether or not to tell her, or wait until she sees it herself and thinks she spilled it...

Oh gosh yes . Just as bad when you're watching a movie with your parents and they're the type that dont talk about sex all that much.

-That awkward moment where you're in a room alone with someone and this disgusting fart smell comes on, and you know you didnt do it. Then you make eye contact, and this person isnt someone you know all that well, so you dont know if you should be polite and take it or simply run out of the room because the smell is that horrible (old man at work, i'm thinking of you )
