I haven't seen any of the nominated films this year yet, but the only two I wanted to see are Arrival and Hell or High Water.

Hell or High Water is absolutely fantastic.

I started watching a copy a coworker gave me. Got 15 minutes in and the sound cut out, and didn't come back for like another 10 mins. So I stopped. I'll just have to on demand it.

It's kind of flawless (Hell or High Water).

Moonlight with best adapted screenplay, as I suspected.

What did Halle Berry win an Oscar for?

That's quite the helmet of hair she's sporting.

La La Land will get it.

Or Moonlight.

Well that sucks. Hope you get to see it soon.

Sorry, but the more people/awards try and convince me that La La Land is any good.... they'll fail. it looks boring TBH.

That Longeran dude looks miffed. :funny: This guy is 5 years younger than me and winning an Oscar.

I really don't have any interest in seeing it despite the glowing reviews. I'm sure my lady will want me to watch it someday soon though.

I feel the same for Moonlight.

I thought it was great, it and Hacksaw Ridge were the 2 of the bunch nominated that I liked the best.

That Avatar land is gonna kick ass.

I forgot Nick Cage had an Oscar.

She looks like Carol Danvers now.
