Yeah Thomson and Thompson, even the thief looks like his comic counterpart. :awesome:

See, now you're starting to get what the two beards were saying. This look could not have been captured in live action without some Rick Baker-style makeup work. Though that article now has me wanting a CG Popeye done in this manner.

The texture looks better in high-res, I can't wait to see it in motion.

I believe I am not alone in saying that the thing I am looking most forward to about this film is the hilarious misadventures of Thompson and Thompson. :D:up:

Man, Jansen en Jansen (using the Dutch translation again! :p) sure look great. The casting is very inspired, odd and yet so fitting.

Have I mentioned I would like to see this movie NOW?

You see the other pictures Carmine? The best one is Tintin with the gun. It looks like something right out of noir.

Downloading the comic series now:)I remember when I was younger watching the cartoon on Nickeloden.Looking forward to this film:)

I understand that we have yet to see it in motion but the still images do seem to have that certain "something" which the Zemeckis films are missing.

Ah that one is the odd duckling since it feels and look different (being the only one in B&W). First time I read it I was amazed how much troubles Tintin got into. All Tintin's adventures are great and some of my favorites are "The Blue Lotus", "Tintin in Tibet" and "The Seven Crystal Balls" (the first one I read).

I've read the comics but I haven't seen all of the animated series or the live action films, so I plan to do so as soon as possible.

Now, I haven't read a Tintin comic since I was 8, but I always figured Tintin was around 30?...

It's been awhile since I've read all of them too. I used to watch Tintin '91 when I was small but am curios to the previous cartoon that came out in the '58, one of these days I'm going to give that one a try.

^Haha, I just read that part in the bookstore when Snowy finds the camel bones. Haddock's reaction cracks me up.
