The Adventures of Tintin

Super 8 is a believable release for it.

But if it's timed and listed, shouldn't it be coming sooner? How soon does a trailer come out once it's listed like this one?

I'm so excited for Tintin I can't even describe the anticipation. I'm serious.

Tintin is one of those things that is very obscure here in the states, almost like a cult, hip thing that, if you mention it, people are impressed you know it exists.

Like what people suggested, I think Super 8 could one of the movies that they attached a trailer to; and the other movie could , maybe, be Kung Fu Panda 2.

Anyway, I'm super pumped to see some footage from this, even though it's probably going to be short.

Look what happened with Beowulf and Mars Needs Moms.

You forget that both were produced by Robert Zemeckis (who directed the former) and were animated by Imagemovers Digital.

This is WETA we're talking about. The first images were jaw droppingly excellent. If the fully rendered scenes aren't as detailed as Avatar, then raise a red flag.

maybe it will be with Kung Fu Panda since its an animated movie. who knows.

i hope it comes out this week. fast fast fast.

So it should be online in the next 19 hours!

Really wow thats rather intresting that its considered hip

Tin Tin and stuff like asterix and obelix in Europe are popular comic/book/cartoon most people read or watched as a kid.

I mainly remember watching the Tin Tin cartoon on TV in the 90s.

I think most people will be familar with the cartoon which aired just about everywhere

I'm going to be honest, I'm pretty sure it's really not considered all that hip here to know about it :O

That's a really cool poster. The bottom looks fanmade, though.

On Facebook Empire magazine said that a trailer will arrive tomorrow morning.

since 2009 i am hearing '' but in US they dont know about TinTin''.

then 1 week later the same group is complaining that they are not makign original movies. so if you thikn that TinTin will bomb because noone knows about him in US how could an original movie make money?

it doesnt matter right? if the movie will be good and if the general public will like it then it will make money.

the same peopel who are complaining that TinTin is not known in US are hoping for original movies that are not based on books and comicbooks.

Whose complaining about it not being known in the US? I see people saying that in reference to it possibly not being a success, but that's not really the same thing. I don't even see how you're connecting the two points anyhow, they aren't really related.

Never been a fan of Tintin. But the amount of talent behind this is just... staggering in all honesty.
