Loved the 1st season, even though (imho) it probably got 'overshadowed' by other comedies such as Ted Lasso and Only Murders

Anyone watching the new season?

Been a lot of fun and I think I may have actually solved it this time!

I'm enjoying it as well, my mot likely suspect is the uncle

I'm really enjoying this too, and yeah there's a pretty convincing theory out there that Ulysses is the killer (don't read on if you don't want the details)...the theory is he was trying to poison Feng and he accidentally switched drinks with Edgar, which you can see if you pay attention to episode 8 in the scene where he offers him the baobing. The most damning piece of evidence is that when Ulysses heard the screams, he went running into Vivian's room. Why? Because he thought Feng was the one who was dead.

Really loving this show. Yeah, I saw the Ulysses theory online and I went back and watched the key points you referenced. I also watched the scene in Ulysses’ recounting of the story where he gives Feng the drink and in that version, Feng takes a sip of it before going to talk to Edgar. However, in the real version which was captured in the iPhone video, he doesn’t take a sip of his drink until after he talks to Edgar (which is actually Edgar’s drink).

Well…
the Ulysses theory was right! Congrats to anyone who caught that during the show; you have to have a good eye to spot it. It’s kind of a shame; much like Yasper in season one, Ulysses was a really interesting character that I kinda didn’t want to be the killer because I loved his (somewhat fabricated) backstory. It had this whole sweeping romantic epic feel to it that really captivated me, which was totally the point. Great role for John Cho; I hope it opens some doors for him, as I know he’s been vocal about about not landing a lot of lead roles given how s***ty Hollywood is about Asian male leads.

Also, that movie version of the events of season one was classic. Elijah Wood, Keke Palmer, Gemma Chan and Urkel! Amazing cameos.

Satisfying ending. I wonder if season 3 will be the afterparty to a movie premiere or something like that? Might be difficult/expensive to get that cast back, however.

No idea but I wonder if Aniq and Zoe will be back or if there will be other legacy characters that get mixed up in the murder. It would be really weird if they were privy to yet another murder, though it’s not as if the show is striving for realism. But the way they wrapped up their story this time it feels like we should let them have their happy ending. Though Sam Richardson would be a tough act to follow; love that guy.

Tiffany Haddish will (and should) return to investigate.

I was right! I caught *the swap* in the moment - I think Glass Onion made me especially sensitive to that move :funny:

This was a really fun season! The cameos were incredible. And yeah, they probably won't be able to get them all back, but it feels like the movie premiere is the obvious premise for Season 3. Maybe just keep a couple of them? Jaleel White shouldn't be too hard to keep, and with the engagement seems the obvious top choice for having a major role.

Yeah the movie premiere after party would be a great setting for season 3. That way you could get Aniq, Zoe and Danner back, as well as possibly some other cast members from season 1. Hopefully not too many though; characters from earlier seasons are highly unlikely to be the killer and this show needs to focus on new suspects to keep people guessing.
