knowing this wasn't Bachalo, I assumed it was Coipel.

I dont know if this will be a cover or just a teaser image but at any rate, you can see Mann's signature to the left of Hellion. IA, they do have similar styles. Never noticed till now. They would make a great team as alternating ongoing artists on a title

Like the Gambit design here... but what's he holding? The left side looks almost like the beginnings of an old-school rifle, then it becomes... ?

Beserker?!? Wow, talk about a blast from the past!

Nightmare vaguely rings a bell. Can someone fill me in who she is? I assume she from one of my non-X men periods or was a minor character so far back that I don't remember her (Beserker I remember mainly because of X Men Evo-he was a minor character back in the day in the comics who until then I forgot about...)

Oh the person in Evolution was Berzerker, not Berskerker. Berzerker was a dead Morlock who's powers included electricity manipulation. He was last seen in Necrosha. This character looks nothing like him. This guy has an eagle on his chest reminiscent of Thunderbird and he has tomahawks which leads me to beleive that he is in fact Native American

The only Nightmare I recall is a male and he appeared in Gen X to Emma

If they were the regular rotating team on Uncanny, I'd have no problem payin $4

Berserker looks more like Warpath to me . Nightmare I beleive showed up in Utopia I think( during the Dark Avenger/X-Men). Though I don't remember her having wings. I'd say the 2 behind Gambit are probably Cannonball and Pixie( or maybe Storm since her and Gambit have a history). I'll assume since there are metal beams in the pic Magneto might be in there as well.

I think you're thinking of Nekra, not Nightmare.

I think you are already looking at Pixie. I think the pink haired girl is an alternate reality Pixie with bat wings instead of the butterfly/insect wings she has(d) in 616

Yeah, your right. I just remembered it started with an N ,lol.
So far, I'm liking what I see. I like Gambit's new uniform so far. Berserker and Nightmare have interesting designs. Yeah, poor Hellion has lost more of his arm but looks cool. Kind of inspires me to get back into my gym routine,lol. I wonder if there are going to be different teams in each book like in AoA. Though with the way Cyc,Emma,and Wolverine have been in 3-4 books each month, I'm guessing it's kind of slim.
Definetely looking forward to this event.

Oppps, I guess I have my Beserkers confused!
Though he doesn't look Native American imo.

Who are these people? Gambit and Hellion I know, but the rest.... Are they alternate versions of characters, D-listers or totally new?

they are either alternate versions of existing characters or new. Frenzy is the only other one thats recognizable. Nightmare, Basilisk, and Berzerker....no clue and its anyone's guess who they are. If they are old characters, I wouldnt even call them D-list. Maybe some reallly obscure Z-list ones...lol

D list characters yes, but usually not in the X-Men Universe. I don't care for any of the alternate X-Men realities either.
