This variation of the 20 questions game can guesse just about any and all characters you can possibly think of. Often times if it doesnt get it on the first try, it will on the second. The trick is, if it gets it completely wrong, or if youre character is just obscure enough that it doesnt recognize it, it asks you to add it to its list.

It has so far for me correctly identifies everything from Joseph from the Scott Pilgrim Comics, to the Nanny from Muppet Babies, to Slenderman, to Agrajag from Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (the last one amazed me as agrajag has been reincarnated as just about every type of lifeform and therefore most of the questions applied)

its fun and amazing. enjoy

i've played this before. its pretty amazing.

it got deja thoris on its second try, but could not guess palmer eldritch.

I played this before too, pretty good and a great time-killer.

Wow, how the hell did it know I was talking about Wilson Fisk? :o

I did Cheetara from Thundercats and Darth Revan from KOTOR.

It failed to guess Jo Lombard, Madman's girlfriend.

This thing sucks.

hmmm... I'm going to have to look up more info on the Star Jammers to see if it can guess the more obscure members... :cwink:

I gave him two characters - Grahf from Xenogears and the founder of the Mughal Dynasty, Emperor Babur. It failed to guess both, even after 40 questions.

I just remember playing this for the first time, and having it guess Manny O'Kelly from "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" on the first guess. Sort of blew my mind.

You can usually tell which question will give Akinator the right answer. I just tried Kara Thrace from Galactica. It already knew my character was a blonde, not an adult man, not an American, and has been in space. When it asked me if my character played card games, I knew it had me.

It got Ren from The Pirates of Dark Water. Nice.

I wanted to see if it could guess Yvaine from Stardust. Mother****** asked me if my character was a star. :cmad:

Pretty good algorithm they've got programmed. It got Stone Cold Steve Austin, Velma, Ms. Marvel, Christopher Chance and Shatterstar. It responded with Power Girl when I was looking for Supergirl, but Kara was the second choice (and that answer is kinda right in its own nerdy, multiverse-related way).

It didn't get Lt. Jean Razak from Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles. So he has been added.

It took 3 guesses before it got Alex Eames from Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The first two guesses were the chick from Cold Case and Mary Shannon from In Plain Sight.

It got Nermal from Garfield pretty easily.

It didn't get Tony Perkis from Heavyweights. Fail.

Part of it is up to how questions are interpreted. He didn't get Jake Sisko because every time he asked "is your character human," I nswered "probably/partially," because he and his father are both of divine heritage by way of the Bajoran prophets. Most people probably just answer yes for that.

Was that a bloodline thing? I thought the Prophets just sorta chose Benjamin to be their emissary because they liked the cut of his jib.

They did. But then they decided that to make sure everything went smoothly, they took human form to have sex with his dad and gave birth to him. Gods are squicky like that.

Dang, it took him five tries to guess Jake Sisko. It went "Worf, Alexander, Alexander, Spock, Jake."

Oh, those gods. Always knocking up humans or getting knocked up by humans to solve their problems. :awesome:
