One minor nitpick I have is with Captain Stacy. I don't really care for him disliking Spidey. I'm sure he'll change his ways and become the Spidey supporter and father figure we all know and love but for now...I'm kinda seeing a less angry Jonah. We'll see how this plays out; I would have prefered it had Capt. Stacy been neutral about Spidey at first instead.

No. In the comics, Captain Stacy always supported Spider-Man.

Mainly because, he knew the Peter was Spider-Man. Though, Peter didn't know that until Stacy's dying moments when he told him to take care of Gwen.

This is bar none my biggest concern.
From what I've heard. everyone involved, including Webb and Garfield, have a great handle on the character and what drives him to do what he does so that assuages my worries a little bit but I still can't help but be concerned about that.

Positives: 3D is trailer looks very promising.
Andrew Garfield is a very authentic actor.
Like the idea of Parent's backstory.
Spider-Man will wise-crack.
Marc Webb is using 3D as an artform.

Negatives:
Spider-sneakers. Meh.
Lizard. Will he look stupid when he talks?
No JJJ. Though I can see why. He'd be a waste if Stacy is gunning for Spidey.

He's said many times that he likes the cast of the film as well as the addition of the Lizard, except he doesn't like the look of the Lizard. And that's more positive than I've heard of a lot of complete bashers.

Agreed. Whether or not it's in line with the comics I see it as a natural reaction for Capt. Stacy to have, initially at least.
