I like how they answer on twitter. They said that spidey is more acrobatic but there's no specific input. They did say they use ever button on the controller though. I also wonder how the ps4 controller will work with the gameplay.

I liked how Sm2 had a tricks spidey could perform in the air. Like the spinneret etc. It would be nice if you could do those tricks in combat too and intergrate that into the combos and movement. I want as much controller as possible over Spidey and less automatic gameplay as possible. They also mentioned that a lot of the controls go to webbing. That sounds nice but I hope they expanded webbing other than web bullets. Ever since Spiderman 3 that has been the default web move and literally NOTHING else. No weblines,no web domes,no gigantic web nets(never been in a spidey game),etc. It's time to give the player more control over spidey and to make his web more realistic. In the first movie Peter never used one web bullet.....however in the game that's all he uses.
 
I'm hoping they go with Keaton, but it will probably be Sam Riegel again...

Well since they said it's a voice actor from one of their previous games, I agree with what you say. Keaton is my top choice but it will prob be Reigel. I still like Reigel, he did a good job with ASM.

Lots of colorful, saliva inducing language in that description. I remember reading the same kinds of tasty 'features' from before the first ASM game was released and got all gooey inside and excited. Then I played the game. Yeah, it was neat for a few chapters. Anyways, it comes down the gameplay, obviously. I'm still waiting to see something good.

But I understand. Spidey's webbing is such a cool and unique tool, so why limit it to just one simplified use.
 
They already confirmed that you have the classic vanilla webbing (the normal web that sticks) and web bullets (ice, explosives, normal etc.). You probably use the D-Pad to switch between the available web modes.

All trailers show some sort of gameplay footage but it's usually done in a highly edited, very cinematic approach. We're talking close-ups with slow-mo and dubstep. It's meant to attract your senses. I'm talking about completely unedited gameplay as though you're standing/sitting next to someone who is actually playing thru the game. That is what I wanna see.

Exactly. It should be aim able. I should be able to fire anywhere. The targeting system in the older beenox games has been really bad. Not to mention that you could only fire webs in front of you and you could only fire web bullets. I hated the way he fired them and it felt so limited. Spiderman 2 had a more realistic web system and I wish they would expand on what can be done with the webbing in general.

I agree with this, especially the emboldened. I imagine the targeting system would be a difficult thing to design though since having a very pinpoint optional system could also take away from a speedy combat system and bog things down a bit. But if it can be done efficiently, I'm all for it. Although even a quick-fire type system ala Arkham City with different types of webbing options would also be pretty cool.
 
I wouldn't mind having to reload the webshooters every once in a while. Then when you run out of web fluid from your belt, you have to go back to your house to get some more.
 
All costumes in the game are going to have damage and cuts and stuff. Beenox Probably. For all costumes too. They said how they are going to make use of all the buttons and each consoles controller and add different features. We will interact with villains before they turn in to villains which is AWESOME. There will be 2 Specific interiors you will have to visit often and you can visit these during free roam. Maybe there will be more. There is acrobatic moves that you can while web swinging so maybe web rush will return. Some of the locations in the game you will have to do some story missions to unlock and you can visit them whenever. You can follow me on twitter if you guys want @WebHead2000000

Are you serious? Wth???? So I guess that means no momentum at the bottom of the swing again and just jumping. Straight up in the air again......omg. smh
