The suits a little too vibrant...

Wow, the ASM1 suit looks A LOT better. That last pic minus the city in the background looks like it was taken from an IOS or Android game.

Like the model is there.....it just looks soo off. Man I want this game to be good, I actually loved the first ASM game. I feel like buying it again.
 
I hope that the AUTOMATED DODGE is not making a come back again. Remember that from Shattered Dimensions? You hold the button and then spidey dodges all pre-scripted hits with little to know input from the player. It was like AC but AUTOMATIC. I hope that it's manual this time.

Suit color still looks weird....but I'm happy they gave us 2 new screenshots. XD

The color of the blue is off and what's strange is it looks like the movie version in the screenshots and on the cover. WTH is wrong with them? Someone had to have known the colors were off.

LOL anyone wanna bet that the takedown that's about to happen will be automatic? Meaning the web-yo yo will be prescripted and we can't actually lower ourselves down and press a button to take him down.

What made you love the first game so much? I liked certain elements of it but the swing system and the bad story and the lack of control over spidey's movements turned me off. I mean I actually liked some of the combos and how it was predictable but I also missed being in control of what I wanted to do. Web rush was basically automatic too.

I'm hoping for the best with this game. I really am.....ASM1 had some things in it that I truly liked but I hope they fixed the issues I had with it. If they did then I will be getting this.

Anyone else hoping for webbing other than web bullets???? What happen to firing regular web lines? And why can't we aim and fire?

They said there's more webbing then just web bullets.

And I figured out what's wrong with their model and suit. The blue's too bright and the red is too orange. The raised webbing also looks very flat and the proportions of the costume are wrong. Honestly.....like I said I want them to do well but if they can't get his character model down then that does not give me a lot of hope for the full game.


He looks darker at night but it should be that shade ALL the time. WTH Beenox??

Really? I'm quite liking the model, itself. Looks very lean and spidery.

The suit texture, though, does look a little off.

Makes sense. That's what I was thinking though I also was thinking that maybe the brighter looking pics were for the Nintendo and the bottom was PS4/One. Oh well.

Beenox made a comment about the webbing having more options this time around. We won't really know until we see that ever elusive gameplay.

He looks like he has checker's on him more so than a web pattern. I noticed that the first time they released those old screens. But then in the trailer the texture looks CORRECT. WTH lol. I still think one is ps3 and the other is ps4. But then again I'm probably wrong and that's just how he looks on both systems.

Yeah I know. I just hope he can do more than the previous Beenox games. Web bullets is old. And I liked the web-disarm in Shattered but that doesn't count. Anyone else hoping the targeting system is fixed too? In the other games you couldn't aim above you and the web bullets would just fire in front of you. And when you attempted to hold the web button it would fire two web-lines in front of you that would go NO WHERE but in front of you. WTH....Lol

I think Beenox reused the same 'soft-targeting' system in ASM that they had in both EoT and SD. But somehow the system got worse? Maybe it had something to do with using the freeflow styled combat and they didn't really do a progam upgrade for how the targeting system would adapt. I dunno. Either way, yeah I agree, there needs to be a better targeting system in place and one that doesn't interrupt the natural flow within combat situations.

Checkers? It looks pretty damn similar to the movie web pattern to me, which really is more of a grid pattern, rather than the classic web pattern from the comics. I guess you mean grid, instead of checkers? Hah.

I agree but it wasn't just that. The targeting system for firing webs and aiming was bad out of combat and inside of combat too. I was hoping for a variety of webbing and being able to mix it into combos but all we got was web bullets and they actually stopped the combos.

They need a better system in general. I want to aim my webbing anywhere. (Walls,boxes,heads,legs,arms,etc)

This game had some cool combos....I think a great mix of combat would be WOS+Spiderman 2+ some of the moves from Shattered with a hint of DMC style combat mechanics. Dante is very flamboyant in his movement and a lot of the moves he can do are so cool to watch. I want to see them do that with Spidey.

I want them to do well as well and as long as it also has a good replay value I will also get it but not now because I needs moneh
 
If you look closely at the face of the guy with the bat he looks like an old man
 
I take this suit and Spidey model a thousand times over the model we have in TASM1. The TASM1 model was, hands down, one of the worst we had. The body proportion and size was outright ridiculous. Spider-Man was taller/bigger than any mob in the game and was as big as the lizard... I mean, wtf? This time around Spidey is smaller and more teenage like, the way he's supposed to be. I'm glad they acknowledged the countless posts complaining about his size on their forums.

The suit in TASM1 was also wrongly coloured, it was way too dark and the blue was more of a black in most settings (dawn, night etc.) whereas it should've been clearly blue at night (kind of glowing a bit). I see they nailed it this time around.
You can't go after screenshots and say the colour is wrong, most screenshots are bullshots and edited before being released to the general public. If you want to know what the suit looks like, watch the most recent trailer.
