You actually can tie them to street lamps in Spider-Man 3.

Yeah, I played it not too long ago. It's pretty good! But Spider-man 2 is more fun to me since you get to do more things in it like pick up thugs or tie them to street lamps and traffic posts and buy new moves and upgrades.
I'm talking about the PC version
You actually can tie them to street lamps in Spider-Man 3.
And tie them to 4 different posts at the same moment
Or tie 5 on the pole at once

Though they can't be lift up while swinging, that truly is one of aspects Spider-Man 2 truly is superior about

Is there a difference on the PC compared to 360 and PS3?
You can mod the save files? Other than that, they're the same thing
I thought you meant the PS2 version when you said you can't tie them to posts, sorry about that

What's the date of whatever is going on with this game?

Haven't seen or heard of 3/19 being a date of any sort of significance in regards to the game....

Beenox tweeted "The GDC expo starts Wednesday, so don't expect to see anything before March 19th. New assets will be released during that day for sure."

Yep, Wednesday is going to be a fun day! :D

Or a miserable day for the people waiting for first reactions of the game, could go either way. Just saying, be prepared either way. :cwink:

I am positive, just not overly positive. The TASM game wasn't received well, I hope they seriously listened to the fan's criticism when they made this one!

I think anyone who isn't erring on the side of caution in regards to this game is unwise. We haven't seen a nanosecond of uninterrupted gameplay and the game is only a little over a month away. That is not promising. Especially when everything we have seen looks identical to the first game...

Well yeah, it's a movie based game by Activision. I'm being positive but my expectations aren't too high.

Gotta keep my expectations a little low 'till Wednesday, we don't know what we're in for really. I like to think it'll be positive.

Well, I'm not basing my opinion on just the trailer when we've had info that clearly states that there will be some differences, like web swinging sticking to buildings, improved web rush and combat, various web fluids to use such as ice and ionic, lot's of costumes with different perks and a bigger city (according to the info on the websites selling it) with distinct districts.

Other than similar graphics and some re-used animations I don't think it looks identical to the first game, at least not when we see gameplay it won't due to the different camera angle they're using for this one (not as close up and more like Spider-man 2 and 3 game).

I strongly recommend you read this: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/01/30/the-amazing-spider-man-2-building-a-better-playground/

Even those who have read it, it's good to read again to get an idea of what the game is improving from the last one.

None of these mean anything to me. All of these could be implemented and still come off as horridly similar in feeling to the first game.

Ie: webs attaching to buildings doesn't mean anything if they don't fix the weight and physical mechanics to the swinging itself.

Improved web rush means jack to me seeing as web rush was nothing but an easy-out of difficult situations.

Making things freeze with my web is....totally inconsequential to me.

The costumes having different perks is literally the only thing keeping my interest.

Re-reading that article, I just remembered that one of the guys working on the game answered questions in the comments.

I've seen a lot of people on here wondering if we will have momentum when we swing:

"It’s hard to compare, but our web swinging system is different than in the previous game. You now need to use the right or left trigger to swing right or left, plus you can boost with the opposite trigger (if you swing with the right trigger and then press the left trigger you will gain momentum). If you release early, you will go further, if you release late, you will go higher. Also, since the web attach to structures, depending on how far you are on the left or the right of the attach point, your turn will be sharp or not."

I've also seen a lot of us here on this thread question if there will be random crimes and will they just keep coming like Spider-man 2.

"Yes, there will be constant random side activities! That way, you will be able to max out the perks of all your suits."

Hard to believe we forgot about these answers!

I hope they fix the weight and physics. I can't wait till the info starts. "The info starts? Yes info rises....."

I hope web rush isn't automated and isn't all twirls in the air this time. It should be more dynamic and I wasn't a fan of web rushing into the air. That was.....stupid.
