No confidence in what we're getting? So the 19th we might get something from what I've skimmed through in the last page? And by something I mean some fanboy's reaction which will be exaggerated because it'll be biased and he'll be excited to be the first one playing it. Cool beans.

Highly anticipating this... please be good! It sucks Activision genuinely don't give a woohaa about anything they produce that isn't Skylanders or Call of Duty.

These are the press not fanboys, they have a job to do, and that job is to tell us their honest opinion about the game.
We might get some gameplay leaked too as well as new info on the game.
Man it has been my DREAM to get on the streets in any city level in SM1 2002.
I have it still for PS2, are there any glitches you guys found so you can at least get close to the ground? I just want to see what it looks like from street view. The streets/cars/lamposts/etc all look pretty detailed for 2002.
THERE HAS TO BE A WAY!!!!! Halp?
And agreed, it's my second favorite Spider-Man game.
Can't..stop...laughing.. nice gifts lol!

Are they actually playing the game or are they just being shown the same set of gameplay footage over and over again? Point is, if it's the latter of the two, their opinion on the game is not worth much imo. It'd be better if I could just watch the recorded gameplay footage and form my own opinion. If all we get is their second-hand opinion on what they saw, well, that doesn't impress me much.

It's probably a 4-5 minute clip of gameplay pre-recorded by the devs with devs walking them through whats happening on the screen. It's always been like that, they don't get to play it. Maybe they get to play a small section/mission in a booth but it's in no way the full experience. Look at 2012, media outlets got to see the same gameplay video over and over again at all conventions. IGN Greg didn't even get to play the game until he did his review (which explains why he was so hyped about it pre-review and then noticed that it's not that good when playing).
Pre-recorded footage = good way to ensure that you get goot previews + you can focus on what makes the game fun instead of letting some guy run through alleys without using any of the games features.
I hope there'll be some way to get the pre-order suits for the ASM2 game, other than, well, pre-ordering it.Yes indeed it does. Hope it makes a return.
You sure took your time SpideyK
I don't like the lenses in that one, and the way it makes him almost look like his skin is peeled off
Bug eyes are rounded, the lenses look more like the way they drew the Devil's eyes in FantasiaReally? That's like my favourite part about it. They look so bug-like - I love it.
Yeah, I guessAre you referring to the tessellation on the suit, when you say it looks like his skin peeled off, or something?

Yeah, I guess
Man I wish there was a way to do this. Now I want to go back and start playing the 2002 video game and just forget about TASM2: the game until we get more news.
Haha yeah, the look on Emma's face is just priceless.![]()
Yeah dude, SM1 from 2002 is like a work of art considering it's friggan 12 years old. We must start a union to get SPIDEY ON THE STREETS!
If we can do it, I'll film a video of it in all it's glory. The day we get that Spidey model to the streets, will be the day I will finally become a man of wisdom.
And i know it's possible too, I tried a couple of times last night on the PS2, and when Spidey falls and dies, his body model still hits the floor and remains there, so obviously if there wasen't any collision dectection there, he would fall thru the street.
