Goblin and Electro are in the game, so I won't have complete doubts of that plot point existing in the game

I'm surprised there is no gameplay yet considering last time around people had access to the game more than a week in advance. Any day now I guess.

I want that. I want to replay that scene but I don't think we'll get to replay it. I think they'll cheapen the story by having completely different motives for Electro and Harry. Creating a new story for them. Otherwise their whole "wont spoil" message gets blown into a million pieces by fans.

I miss the days where we had real movie tie-ins that re-tell the story of the movie. I hated their TASM1 approach (it was boring to say the least, would've rather had an origin story learning to control powers etc. facing off against the lizard than fighting lame robots and crawling through vents to stop yet another apocalypse) and just want the old Spider-Man 2 & 3 type games back. What is there to stop them from using the movies storyline but also have a few other smaller storylines? The hunt for uncle Bens killer would've easily fit in there with the occasional dip into the movie territory.

Movie licensed titles seem to have strayed away from retelling the story because movie licensed games have earned (a well deserved) reputation for being awful. There seems to be a push toward creating games that tell a story before or after the film as a means of offering a more compelling reason to purchase the title.

I like him, personally I prefer Christopher Daniel Barns, but of course I was 12 when that show was on, and so that might be nostalgia. Josh Keaton is a close second. I don't mind the guy in this game, way better then Web of Shadows voice actor, he was cringe worthy!

I just wish this game would leak already!

Also nice seeing all of you again, I was reading through the amazing spiderman game 1 forum, before it came out, just never made an account, lets hope we are not as disappointed. I really want the web swinging to be better so I can retire web of shadows once and for all.

I rented amazing spiderman this week, haven't played it since it came out because I traded it back it in. Needless to say the swinging is so slow and atrocious, now I remember why.

So I decided that I will most likely rent the game on Redbox. It's a smart move and it's a much better option than paying full retail for it.

I know a game I was following earlier this month leaked in Dubai about 5 days early, apparently they get the games early sometimes.

I wanted the alt costumes from Gamestop and the tickets but imo shelling out 50 bucks for what could be an expansion would be a bad investment.

I read an early review for it and the only thing the guy liked was the swinging.......take that how you want lol.

If I rent this game and the swinging and momentum still feels fake I won't be buying it.

Beenox believes in doing everything for the player. They act like the only web system we should get is WEB SHOOT. It isn't that fun to use and tbh I never feel like I'm in control of it. Why is it so hard to add in a manual web system? Why can't we aim and fire?

In the review the reviewer didn't like the graphics and he said that the hero menace system wasn't good either. He also said that the hit detection was off in the combat and as for the city itself he said the buildings lack texture.

Doesn't sound that appealing to me. I still want to try out the swing system but if that's the only thing I like that might be a bit of a problem.
