So, i just went back and played a bit of amazing spider-man on pc, and This game looks great.. The model for spider-man was amazing and the city looks pretty awesome too. Gives me hope, i guess the ps4 version should look at least as good as that game in full 1080p.. I'm gonna say that it looks bad cuz of the compression of the videos and streams.. heres some pics of me swinging around.. view image to view full size

Really not a fan of Spidey's look in this game. The black webbing on his suit just doesn't look right. The texture is weird. You don't have to put every muscle protruding from him! Wish they made him look more like the movie.

sweeet i just preordered amazing spider-man 2 on steam for 20.00, apparently it's cheaper elsewhere and i got a connection in another country that gets me steam games from russia which is cheaper.. that solves my problem, ps4 order cancelled lol.. i'd say this game is worth 20.00, not 80 though..

I'm getting the PS4 version for 35 because of some coupon from Gamestop that I printed out and have to use by May 1st. Easier pill to swallow if I somehow don't like it haha

I have a back lot of like 30 games any way and no free time right now with trying to keep up on NBA playoffs. Still catching up on one nba game right now.

ps4 games are $80 dollars here in canada.. 69.99 stupid price went up recently.. used to be 59.99 for years..

I've been watching some free roam videos, might just be youtube but do the graphics have an almost cell shaded/ comic look? not to the extent of ultimate spiderman, but it kind of looks like that in a good way.

Looks great to me, just what I was expecting. t: very excited to grab this. Once again watching this video though of course frustrating watching others play. When he's fighting the thugs at the beginning, ugh. I hate people I swear haha

I didnt really notice that in the compule minutes a watched. Ultimate spider man was a great game though lol.

Maybe its just me but they look the same to me. I thought there would be a notciable difference.. I downloaded both the ps4 gameplay and the 360 gameplay, gonna screen cap a few scenes and see if i can see any difference, keeping in mind compression.. got nothing better to do lol..

Judging by that screenshot the PS4 version looks better, but it's not a huge difference. I noticed it before when I watched that footage that there is more traffic in the PS4 version and this screenshot confirms it.

sooo. based on the youtube videos, they look pretty similar.. Although i find it funny that the van in one of the pics is a different color.. also i noticed more cars and trees on the first swing pic..

the close up one on spider man's face looks the same to me cant tell a difference but the other ones ps4 looks slightly slighly better can almost not tell but ps4 is a little less blury but it is youtube on a tv you will notice a bigger difference.

What bugs me is how people are unintentionally making the web slinging errors happen. They always swing when they shouldn't, meaning the player ends up sliding across buildings with the same level of momentum before the "clipping?" into the building ends, and the normal swing continues. It ruins the belief.

Web slinging is best as Spider-Man actually does it, low, and close to the ground. Plus you get to see that city detail up close and notice pop in less (since if you're up high then you'd notice how empty the streets look).
