I watched some of those walkthrough videos on the channel listed above. It's essentially the same game as ASM only with a few enhancements or improvements here and there. The combat looks exactly the same. I hope we get some more videos that simply showcase the free roam and doing random crimes and other activities.

There's already tons of videos that feature the free roaming and side missions.

That free roam vid was ok. There really isn't anything I've seen so far that is making me want to run out and buy this. I'll eventually get it I suppose but not at the full price.

Yeah and that was what I feared. I like some of the additions but they did not expand the combat system like I was hoping. My other concern is whether the upgrades and costumes can be carried over to a new game.

I want to watch gameplay, but it hurts.

I would like to see them mix it up between Web Rush and the swinging like I used to do in the first game. Even though swinging was automated lol.

Yeah, man. I do that all the time.

If there isn't anything to swing from, I just quick web rush. Not the web rush where you slow down time, that gets annoying af, tbh.

Can't wait to get my hands on this game, and see if I'm gonna suck at the swinging too, hah.

Tbh I think it's the city and the fast that we still don't have the SM2 swing mechanics and it's options.

They don't really give us much to work with in the swinging department other than left and right. It's like the web is fired but we still aren't truly in control nor does his body react like it should. It's like he starts swinging and but there's no fully through. If they come back I really want them to add back what made the previous games successful.

What about wall jumps and bouncing off walls? We need more options...

Watched a few of those gameplay vids. The city looks a lot less generic than it did in the first game, which is a very good thing. The left/right trigger swinging is a cool idea, but in the vids, the swinging looks sort of slow.

They don't really give us much to work with in the swinging department other than left and right. It's like the web is fired but we still aren't truly in control nor does his body react like it should. It's like he starts swinging and but there's no fully through. If they come back I really want them to add back what made the previous games successful.

With coupons and trade ins I can grab this game with the symbiote suit DLC for nothing, so that's why I'm excited for it. If I actually had to pay for it, well...I wouldn't lol.
