I loved Kraven though. It is my favorite version of him.

The "don't get hit ___ times" challenges can be hard and the last one took me a few tries. You have to really be on top of things.

S**t.

Okay, guess I'll better get working on it right now, then.

Yeah, the twist.

Damn.

Offtopic a lil: If they introduce Kraven in the movies, he should be using cross species formulas to enhance himself... but he ends up like Spidey, where his appearance stays the same.

Ontopic: I like the comics store, and how it says "Comic Stand" but the "D" isn't lit up.

EDIT: I thought for certain I made this post in the Lounge

Can you use different suits for combat challenges? I am getting my butt kicked and I'm barely in the second of twelve challenges.

It also seems that the button response is slow, I was tapping L1 to take a gun away, but it wouldn't do it for some reason.

I keep getting killed on the final wave because of that. I have no issue in regular combat like in petty crimes, but I do here.

Sometimes, I can't even dodge in combat challenges. It's really quite frustrating.

I hate on this game a lot but it's infinitely more playable than the first was haha. I'm actually completing asm2. The levels in ASM1 were trash, I love the open ended design of the second.

Do suits transfer through new games like in the last game?

No they don't according to someone who started a new game and posted a rage topic on the Steam hub for the game.

I've been watching walkthroughs on Youtube and I have a couple of questions about the combat.

How does the counter multiple enemies work? Is it similar to Arkham where you press the counter/dodge button rapidly for the number of enemies attacking you? What's the most you can counter at the same time?

Is there a 'hit timing' mechanism similar to Arkham? Meaning you time the attacks just right and you get into a 'flawless freeflow' type mode?

The mulitple counter is similar to the Arkham series, yes. Feels nowhere near as reliable, though. Two at a time is max.

I'm not sure if there's a "hit timing mechanism", though. I don't really know what you're referring to, though, hah.

Ok. Thanks. If you've ever played Arkham City, if you time your attacks to a certain rhythm you get into a mode called something like flawless freeflow and it makes your attacks more powerful.

Oh, I've definitely played Arkham City, hah. One of my favourite superhero games of all time.

I actually had no idea about that flaw less free flow thing, though.

I'm getting this game on console as well as pc. for no reason.

I just finished the mission set in the fundraiser.

Yes there is. You crit hit enemies if you time your attack right. No visual indication AFAIK though other than it does more damage apparently. Atleast that's what Thomas Wilson said a lot, that if you time attacks right you get crit hits.

Game is ok but man is some of the stuff ridiculous. How in the hell am I supposed to stop crimes while I'm trying to get to the green goblin?!

By being amazing and spectacular?
The hero/menace bar is easily my biggest complaint along with the story (says something that the story isn't the meat of the game, liked the Electro fight though, even though it came out of absolutely nowhere with no buildup). I did a fire rescue mission and as soon as I was back in free roam from it I lost more rep. than I gained because I didn't simultaneously stop a bomb, another fire, a shootout, and a speeding car. I feel like the bar should drop over time rather than due to missing an event (perhaps 45 minutes for it to drop 3 levels?). sometimes I like to just free roam in a mission replay so I don't have to bother with the hero/menace system, but you can't stop any crimes/save lives when you do that. They should have an option upon story completion (or perhaps as a reward for getting all comic pages) to disable the bar entirely.

What I do, if I see some mission about to expire I just quit the game and go back in. It's a pain, but it's better than losing rep and being chased by that stupid task force.
