So from the trailer it seems Connors is more sinister than innocent. Is his family still in this?

based on how Connors talks and looks i am scared for his family. looks like living with a psycho. i hope they will not show the family. Connors in no way looks nice and like someone i feel will sorry. he looks like an oldschool villain.

Well maybe he changes over time? It's heavily hinted at that the late Parkers' disappearance involves him in a large capacity (or Oscorp?) So yeah, there is a bit of an old-school quality in him. Plus he's sporting a British air in his syllables. In Hollywood, that immediately makes him sinister


What got me hooked was Gwen's smile though. *sigh*

And say what you will, but Pete is anything but a geeky fan-boy in this one. Not even close.

I'm really happy about that but I'm also noticing something funny, at least to me: I've never seen so many people EXCITED about a character possibly dying lol. I've seen so many comments where guys are happy that gwen will possibly die. Of course I understand wanting to see the storyline on screen and I do to, it's just funny to me to think that people are excited about death

I know right, even his body language when he's quipping has a smart ass quality. Maguire would just stand there. I've always been open to this reboot. This is the movie we should have gotten in the first place.

Btw, the lense frames actually are a dark blue. When the light hits them a certain way you can tell. Somebody who's seen the suit up close actually confirmed this about 2 months ago... and now looking at old set pictures (and of course, the hawt new trailer) it's clear as day.

They look black, Troy, to me. They just look blue where the light hits.
