The Amazing Spider-Man The Amazing Spider-Man General Discussion & Speculation Thread - - - - - Part 15

Why would someone want a detailed review if the film isn't even out yet? This is RIM and Tim_Higgins prerogative, but I'll really like to ask them to not do it. People should know about this film through watching it, not through a "detailed review" of something that isn't even out yet. There's no way this will stop here, and the way some people are avid to trash this, I'd be more excited with a spoiler free review then a full of spoilers one. But oh well, that's my point of view, I'd like to read how other regulars around here feel about this.

I just want to see whether or not they like the movie. There are always spoiler tags.

Me too!!! I'm pretty excited to read their thoughts on the film, I'm just kind of scared of reading spoilers two weeks and a half before I get to see this. That's just my personal preference though.

Found this on the Blu-Ray.com Fourms...

Makes sense, considering Eduardo Saverin is in this.

I'll have to disagree with this study. I knew next to nothing from The Avengers and it's one of the best films that I've seen in my entire life. Most of the films that I'm deeply in love with I wasn't spoiled by anything. Oh well, for each his own I guess.

 I don't believe you.

Have any friends or relatives with such problems? It is offensive, big time and used way too much on these forums.

Oh stop with the PC please, you're reading too much into this. Ok, I'm not STUPID, does it suit you better?!

It all depends on how someone ranks "best" films. For me personaly, I know I considered Avengers one film that I had the most fun watching in a long while. In the vien of Indiana Jones. I consider Raiders to be one of my top films of all time, so Avengers would be high up on my list too.

On my list of top superhero movies, Avengers ranks 5th place, right after Iron Man.

How can Avengers be one of the best films any one has ever seen?? I'm not bashing. I just really don't get it. It's good, but not all that better then a film like Iron Man. Where I think a film like The Dark Knight is anything but overated, than I think Avengers is definitely overpraised/overated. The most impressive thing about the film, is its massive earnings, and rightfully so. But as a film, I don't get how it could be so high on any ones list:huh:

As a "film" it is nowhere near the greatest movie. The best movie ever made could not be filled with one liners, and a typical alien invasion type of film.

I can't quote from thread Part 14, but I am in the camp of wanting to read an unmitigated review from Tim. Spoiler tag is good, but I wouldn't want him to hold back on unleashing all his thoughts after seeing ASM.

He doesn't have to hold back. He can just put them in spoiler tags.

Has any one seen the film yet??? are there reviews out there at all??

I mean, I gave it a 10, it's one of my favorites. I feel TDK is probably my favorite movie ever made.

That and The Avengers. I would consider TDK my favorite movie ever, but TA is one of my favorites, there a few movies I like more though.

The ASM Facebook page just posted the 4-Minute preview, now with 1 Million fans they can just shut the heck up already, its annoying to hear "This ist the real spider-man" and "Why is MJ blonde?" and "Why does he use machines there gay"
Stupid people. I blame Raimi
