Yeah, I'd say that picture is before/after his transformation into the Lizard too, in the sewers.

What about this?

Mhm, maybe some polices are pointing with their guns at spidey. I can guess that he probably makes some jokes about it.

Okay, to keep this thread running, I looked at some more pics and I came across this!

Now I'm wondering if this is a moderized type of version of Spider-Man's little "Greeting Card" saying "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" from the comics when he first started. But then again I think, "How does he get all of that spray paint on the wall that fast?" And that's my hunch.:woot::woot::woot:

We already know that this is made by people in the city. Why? Well I don't know why they'd make it yet.

...Well, he is Spider-Man. :hehe:

I think he'll be doing this sort of thing when he's running around in his prototype suit. (the one with sunglasses)

George Stacy and the police want Spidey gone and I'm sure that this is a way for the people to openly support Spidey, go against George Stacy, and still remain anonymous. That's my guess.

In this photo, a cameo appearance is spoiled.

If you look to the far right, you can barely make out Howard the Duck. Now, Sony must be taking inspiration from how Marvel Studios is doing things with the Avengers. They've realized that it's a pretty innovative concept, and has therefore managed to squeeze in Howard the Duck into The Amazing Spider-Man, setting him up for his own film. It's a huge possibility that this is the after credits scene that they're filming. Makes perfect sense.

No, they're not. But The Avengers' director is taking inspiration from Michael Bay. Fill the film with tons of action with hokey and hammy characters and performance.

Remember guys, any movie with tons of action and explosions = Michael Bay.

My theory: Its part of the opening of the movie

You have the beginning credits, lets say, then Title showing up, with the big red spider symbol in the background.

Then everything melts away except for the symbol (with a black background most probably) like the trailers ending. Then the building forms and we see the symbol painted on the building.

Pan up and reveal New York.

Nothing to do with story, just presentation. Thats what I think.

The thing is, it looks really neatly painted on for a quick spray paint job.
