The Anna Marie/Rogue Thread

I think I'd prefer Jodie Comer as Rogue over Margaret Qualley. Both are decent actresses but Qualley's face just doesn't have that "look" about it that screams Rogue. It's hard to explain but you know when you see an actor or actress and you just think "they could totally play that character", I just don't get that with Qualley for Rogue. I could maybe see her as a grown up Kitty Pryde or Jean Grey.

Jodie really? its interesting the point you mention, because I can actually see Margaret closer to X-Men 97 Rogue, while Jodie doesnt give me Rogue at all (neither Sue as some people wanted)

Sidney Sweeney is another actress I can really see as a live version of TAS Rogue and the one from the comics, she clearly has the look hands down, and its charming.
But Im getting used to the idea of Qualley. we'll see what happens, so.

I don't have any specific actress suggestion, like a name, for Rogue. If I had one, I already forgot it.

For villains in an X Men franchise, you have to have Stryker but also I would go with En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse and Mr Sinister for a trilogy of films



William Stryker I would go with Eric Roberts or Robert Patrick


For Apocalypse I would go with The Rock, Dwayne Johnson he's my pick for Apocalypse in the MCU. But other picks I could go for would be Oded Fehr or Rami Malek.

Made a comment about this in the general thread, but should have made it here. I agree 100%. She doesn't have the right look at all. Qualley looks more like an adult Kitty Pryde than Rogue. I feel like people only want her to play Rogue because they think she's hot. Same story with Alexandra Daddario - although she admittedly looks way more like Rogue than Qualley.

I never would have thought of Jodie Comer, but honestly? I can kind of see it with her. And she is fantastic with accents too.

I googled who this Jodie Comer is, and 5'8 sounds like a perfect height for Rogue. Idk if the actress can handle action scenes. I did see Margaret in the Substance, and it looked like she could do some action.

Interesting you dont have one single actor/actress for an actual X-Men, tho. Most people and fans on the net have their fave actors or newcomers from certain movies or shows. Kinda surprised you, being a huge X-Men fan, didnt have at least a few names for the reboot, since we know its coming once Disney bought Fox in 2019.

I don't watch a lot of shows/movies because its very time consuming. I also don't think its really necessary to do fan casting because there are like 10,000 actors in Hollywood. I'd rather spend my time discussing other topics like the roster, release date and story arcs.

Okay what is this sarcastic behavior you keep having on? I was being kind enough directly replying, when you quoted my posts. This is no longer about Rogue. What are you gonna question about me next?

where is the sarcasm? My point was totally serious: you dont seem to like anything or any actor rumored for the reboot, neither tv shows, and plenty of other stuff. So yeah, your attitude with most news and rumors sound negative on here.
That's my observation and I thought it was interesting to ask why.
