I think they're both roughly equal in skill and have the same penchant to be hotshots. I think the colonial viper is the better machine so it would give Starbuck the edge.

I'll say Reynolds; McLane would become unfocused and jealous by the amount of hair on the Captain's head and let down his guard - therefore easy victory.

I'm kind of torn. I want to say Yippie Kai Yay, McLane would would take a better beating and win, but Reynolds took some really hard hits from The Operative in Serenity, and was still able to stay focused enough to beat someone who was far more skilled than him in hand to hand combat.

I say Reynolds, but McLane would probably last longer than anyone he's ever fought before. I think they would probably have a beer afterwards.

This seems like a long, drawn out war that will have the slimmest chances of ever ending, but if it did, I'd bet that Ultron would be the one to come out on top.

If this is just a one-off battle, Ultron still wins.
