I'd like to see what MEW could do with red hair. Only because she'd bring some credence to it.

In essence, April should be attractive and cute, but not like supermodel hot. Unless there are some actresses that can pull that off.

Is April gonna be a reporter or lab assistant? Depending on which interpretation they go for, we'd have a better idea of the casting. But regardless, it's a Michael Bay production. April WILL be played by a supermodel type.

Personally I am a huge fan of Judith Hoag in the first live-action film. She isn't model hot but she did damn great as April.

I had a big crush on Judith Hoag as April Oneil back in the day. Wish she had of returned for the other movies. Paige Turco was much more attractive & wasn't a bad April but they didn't didn't give her the red hair.

It's funny how as a kid, I thought that Paige Turco was cuter.

But then I saw all of the films again recently, without a shadow of a doubt, Judith Hoag was more attractive (Paige was cute too). But Judith had the cuter face, but I guess as a kid it was her frizzly hair I didn't like. But it was the 80's.

With Paige, she had less to do, while Judith's April was a great 'mediator' between the audience and the Turtles.

Wow, I would have never thought of Anna Kendrick. Very nice suggestion. I think she could go a great job. I actually like all of the suggestions made in this thread so far, but I think what's it really going to come down to is what interpretation of April the filmmakers go with for the film. Depending on which route they go, April may be older or she may be younger.

I like Mary Elizabeth Winstead and I think she'd do great, but she gets suggested for everything when it comes to comic book films these days.
