I know, it's just that some were speculating if the lightning bolts were going to stick out or be flushed against his cowl like CA:TFA. We haven't seen the front yet, but it's looking like we might get the latter.

to me it looks like the bolts protrude from the cowl.

And i'd say it's as good as Cap's cowl from TFA. Better than The Avengers cowl by a mile.

Honestly, a lot of season 1 wasn't amazing. Season 2 is where it's at. If i were you, i might just read what happened in season 1, and then start from season 2. The end of season 1 is great tho.

Pretty cool, but I can't say I think it looks particularly great. The design is decent, but I'm sorry - that actor just has third-tier written all over his face. Good looking guy, but nothing special. For a film-version of Flash, I think we'll really need an actor who can draw in a totally flash-ignorant public. I wouldn't want to put that version of Flash up against anything from the Marvel franchise (and I've always thought Flash was a kind of marvel-esque character).

Not unless you plan on introducing The Flash in Justice League movie where he'll be in a supporting role in a movie that will make more than a billion. That seems to be the WB plan. If he shines in his role in that movie, you could successfully spin him off in his own movie that people will want to watch because they liked him in Justice League (and this could work with any actor, first, second or third tier). For what it's worth, I thought Gustin was really good in his stint on Arrow.
