How entertaining is this film? Sure, Mask of the Phantasm is deeper and Return of the Joker is darker, but Batman/Superman is by far the most fun to watch. It's not even made for video, it's three episodes of the TV shows edited together - but it works perfectly.

The interaction between Supes and Bats is perfect, ranging from fighting each other to humourous banter to gruding respect. The same with Lex and the Joker, each continually fighting to have the upper hand. The action is great and cleverly there are threats that are tough for Superman but not out of Batman's league.

I loved it. The best thing about was how it showed Batman was Superman's equal, despite not having any super-powers. My favorite scene is where they meet for the first time. Batman has a thug pinned to a wall, interrogating him on the whereabouts of the Joker, when Supes puts his hand on Bats' arm, and says "That's enough of that!', whereupon Batman throws Supes across the room using a Judo throw! The look on Supe's face as he's sitting on the floor is priceless. I also like how Supes (using his X-ray vision) discovers Batman is Bruce Wayne, then a few minutes later Supes flies back to his apartment and changes back to Clark Kent, finds a little Bat-tracer on his cape, looks out the window to see Batman on the roof of the building across the street with a pair of binoculars, smiling and giving him the thumbs uo.

yeah I also love this animated movie, I loved relationship between Bruce and Lois also Clark getting jealous. I like how Superman finds out Bruce's idenity.

It's on DVD now, and very cheap, so if you don't own it, I suggest.....no demand.....no, I ORDER YOU to buy it!

Deja Vu? Didn't I see this exact same post on another thread?

Back on topic....I F***ING LOVE IT! It was great, such memories....That's the kind of interaction Bats and Supes should have. They captured it greatly. It's a truly entertaining arc. One of my all time favorites.

Thanks to this thread I saw it last night for the first time. It's always the same, I hate the drawing and the 1940's vibe but I always enjoy these animations.
