Premature sure, but this is just in case when the official trailer(s) do drop. Anyways, when do you guys and gals see the first teaser dropping and in front of which movie? What do you expect or would like to see in said teaser?

Haha I just kinda posed this question in another thread.

Hobbit might still be a little too early but there's a chance of a very short teaser.

Something will be in front of Avengers AOU, guaranteed.

Man from U.N.C.L.E. is the next strongest possibility, IMO. - especially for the first full trailer.

Now that I think about it, here's how I see the trailer releases going:
Teaser-Avengers: Age of Ultron
Trailer #2-Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Trailer #3-Star Wars: Episode VII

I expect the first teaser to drop with Avengers: Age Of Ultron. They can always re-use that comic con footage with the real actors and add in some snippets of new footage and end it with Batman and Supes staring at each other. Doesn't have to be a full trailer. A minute and a half teaser would do.

If they just used the SDCC footage I think a lot of fans would be annoyed. I think the criticisms would be very loud. (lazy, not confident, etc.)

Would love a teaser with The Hobbit. Doubtful I know and oh definitely a Superbowl ad I know MOS didn't have it but this one SHOULD do.

WB hasn't done one since 2006 and quite frankly, it's not like it would be a make-or break the movie deal. TV spots would probably already be airing by the time the Super Bowl rolls around or just shortly after.

Why would they be annoyed? I wanna see that in all it's HD glory.:hubba Marvel does it though with their trailers. The SDCC GOTG and CA: TWS were the first trailers released. Well the Cap 2 cut out the elevator fight and that was it. I can guarantee you the first AOU trailer will be what was shown at SDCC this year.

You mean Feb 2016 Super Bowl right?

They'd get annoyed because they would want and expect more.

I don't want them to do anything because Marvel does it.

Given the new rules, a trailer for this movie cannot be shown in theaters until five months prior to the film's release.

Now, if WB decides to release online exclusive trailers, that's an entirely different story.

I'd be willing to buy a ticket to see the Batman v Superman trailer

"yes, one ticket for the batman v superman trailer please"

In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about:

What I find most interesting is the idea that they're setting a new rule about how early you can start advertising a film. Right now, it is not uncommon to see teaser trailers a full year ahead of a movie's release, especially if you're talking about giant summer blockbusters. The new rule would establish that no trailer can be released more than five months before a film's release date, while marketing materials like posters and standees would be held to a mere four months before a film's arrival in theaters.

This rule goes into effect October 1st.

And here you go the very next paragraph is your answer.

Each distributor will be given two exemptions per year on each of the rules,
