I loved Doom. But people are going to hate on it, so whatever...

Doom is one of Spielberg's worst movies (along with 1941 and Hook), extreme over-indulgence, virtually no plot, and yes, it's just a roller coaster. Crusade is actually a very lazy movie from Spielberg, and works despite him rather than because of him.

WTF R U smoking... hey we all got opinions but damn... Hook was simply amazing... I loved Crusade... the comedy and the action... I just never get tired of that one...

They are all good... entertaining as hell with excellent stories every time... that's really all you need...

Raiders of the Lost Ark. easily.

ToD just felt a little too dark for its own good, and the plot was a little on the weak side compared to the others.

LC...in contrast was too light-hearted for me. And to be honest, I got tired of the father-son banter after a while.

Also, RotLA has the best 'girl' of the three - by far.

I've got a soft soft for Temple of Doom. It's dumb but fun.

I don't understand when someone says it's too dark, and yet, now we're in an era where we want sequels in general to be more dark.

Raiders without a doubt. The effects were amazing and the story fabulous.

I love all three, but I found that the other two just didn't have the magic of Raiders

Tough choice i love tham all and they all bring something to the table and all three have some amazing set pieces
ROTA is probably thr single best action/adventure movie ever made but Temple of Doom has always had a soft spot for me,it was the first i saw and i love the darker story and the trio at the lead as well as the set pieces such as the mine cart chase

I voted for Doom. Not because it's my favorite, but because I knew it would get underrated here.
Cheeky, I know.

You just said everything I was thinking as well.

Good post.

I love all of them, but I've chosen the last crusade because of Indy's father.

We're talking about Hook, right? The 1991 Hook? Robin Williams as Peter Pan?

The thing about Raiders and Crusade is that they didn't have a guy getting his heart ripped out of his chest.

For me it would probably come between Raiders and Crusade, but I think Raiders just edges it out.

The Last Crusade still has one of the best endings of all films...Indy and company ride into the sunset. Just perfect, because that's what heroes do :)

Whenever somebody says a movie was fun, I just hear sh**ty.

Exactly. Van Helsing is a 'fun' movie, which means no artistic value whatsoever but lots of very broad comedy and action.
