The Better Trailer: Star Wars TFA vs. Batman v Superman DOJ

Since the BVS trailer is a teaser it would be more fair to compare it with TFA's teaser trailer.

Yes how dare you start discussion on a discussion forum! These questions aren't taboo people. I have to go with Star Wars and this is some who hasn't even seen all of the original trilogy (I get a lot of crap for that) but that trailer is awesome. The BvS one is great but the release of it was so botched it sort of affected it.

For me, TFA's first teaser is one of the best teasers of all time, but I really liked BvS's as well.

Gotta go with the second SW trailer myself also. The first one back in November didn't impress me all that much outside of the Falcon's cameo at the end, but this one's a significant improvement...I think it does a better a job showcasing the newer characters as well as the nostalgia factor.

As for BvS...meh. Aside from the fact that I think they're really overdoing the whole "Everybody Hates Superman" thing, I 'm not sure exactly what it is but I'm getting the same goofy vibe from that Jim Lee Batsuit as I did from Schumacher's (honestly, I think the still photos looked better). The Frank Miller Darth Vader Batsuit at the end complete with Bat-Helmet Voice Changer ("Coming Soon From Mattel!!!") didn't really help, either. Seeing the Batplane/wing again was nice, but that was pretty much it.

Star Wars did more for me. Downright beautiful imagery, beloved characters, and incredible music.
The BvS teaser was pretty great too though. I loved getting to see that glimpse of Batman.

More hyped for BvS. I more prefer the tone and all. that comes across in that trailer as opposed to SW. Both are great looking trailers, though.

I liked BVS more. BVS made me want to see the movie, the first SW teaser made me want to go on the SW boards and find out who all those people are. I'll judge the second teaser against the next BVS one.
