I must admit tho the new excalibur series is grea..i hope the black knight does join up that'd be brilliant...and there's also trouble with juggernaut on the horizon too...

also i wonder when we are gonna meet the albion guy again and lionheart??

Love that Knights of Pendragon cover (Looks like either Simon Bisley or Carl Critchlow?).

I must admit, I'm really intrigued as to who Albion is. I know from the look of him it'd be real easy to make him an alternate Brian or something (like Kaptain Briton etc) but who knows? Maybe there's a big suprise waiting for us.

Yeah, the Black knight would definately fit into the book; the banter between him and Brian would be great given their past but I'm still not convinced with Brian's current mish-mash of a costume.

I'm really hoping they change it.

Some nice images there Benitez. Cap Britain is one of my favourites, as you can see from avator. It would be nice to see hime play a larger role in the MU, especially since his power up. I thought this might be the case after house of M, but he's back in the outfield again rather than playing at slip.

Plus if your name is anything to go by, your lads haven't had the best start to the season.

I know what you mean Stu - I get the impression the only times Marvel allow Cap to be a real power player in the Marvel Universe is when Alan Davis wants to use him as such; Maybe it's down to his not being American?

I 1st had suspicions when I saw in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe that they list him as something like 5'10" with the strength of an average man without the suit (no ability to fly wither). Now you and I both know that this is complete B.S. but it came as no suprise considering his entry comes immediately after Captain America's entry.

They couldnt possibly have a limey outdoing good ole' Cap America in the physical attributes or powers stakes, could they?!

Call me cynical and paranoid but that's honestly the way I saw it.

EDIT:- Here's a link to C.B's entry on the Marvel Directory. Seems they still havent changed to the errors that were in the Official Handbook. Now why would that be?!

FURTHER EDIT:- Seem's that Marvel are a tad inconsistant with their characters profiles. Just found one that's more of a truer representation of C.B.

-And, lol, no they havent had the best start to the season (only 1 defeat mind you, 1 game in hand too) but then again, Chelsea have lost a game already also and United, although getting the results, look far from convincing in my mind, and will drop points along the season. Arsenal (if memory serves) havent won a games away from home yet (!)

I'm confident the lad's will come good at the end of the season (maybe not to win the league but they'll push Chelsea further than last season).

Also, imagine a tale where UJ went back in time (or some other explanation) and teamed up with C.B. when he had just started out. With their abilities more or less similiar (and from a purely aesthetic p.o.v, there whole look) , it would have been interesting .

Kind of like 'The Professionals'. Bodie and Doyle with powers.

UJ and Cap have teamed up in the Knights of pendragon...a good read if you can find it.....other knight include albion,black panther and iron man!!

it was a great story tho..plus seeing UJ knock cap on his ass was worth all of it anyway!!!

Just found it on my usual searches around Google images, they're a pretty good source for stuff, if you're ever in a hurry.

EDIT: Just found a kick -ass Excalibur group shot as well as a Knights Of Pendragon cover which UJ might agree wasnt exactly his finest hour - or costume for that matter !!

Actually the latest Marvel Handbook entry for Brian has him at 6'6" and 257 lbs. The earlier (1980s) Handbooks had the stats for Brian as he would have been prior to Merlyn rebuilding him following the Fury incinerating him.

Not inconsistent - characters can and do change over time.

Whatever happened to the New female Captain Britain?

the female captain britain is called kelsey leigh and is going under the name lionheart now..she was seen in new excalibur a few issues ago....trying to kill the captain!!

seems she's hooked up with some other superhero/villain (we don't know yet)...called albion...now again this must be a new albion because the last albion was killed by the bane in knights of pendragon....he had he head chopped off and guts ripped out...the bane were not very nice types..

i am really looking orward to UJ's new mini approaching us...and it was nice to see him in captain america..tho i feel he was a bit under used and powered in it..all to make cap look better tho i guess....i'd like to see UJ and cap team up more,they make a good team...lot better than wilson anyway IMO..

i'd also like to see Cap.B and UJ meet again in new excalibur..bout time the reunited again i say!
