Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine

I didn't find a thread for this mini series, so I thought I'd start one.

So, #3 is coming out on Wednesday, and it only took Marvel 3 YEARS to accomplish this amazing task.

Thoughts anyone?

I just wrote a review on it that should be up soon (Monday at the latest), I'll post it on here as soon as they put it up.

Overall, I thought it was quite good, though I didn't like a couple little factors. I won't say what cuz I don't want to spoil it.

You know what's amazing? I dunno if its the colorist, but Yu's artwork looks a MILLION times better than Secret Invasion. Seriously this is the best i've ever seen from Lienil Yu. For that reason alone i might pick it up.

Okey dokey.

Here's a few of my thoughts and some spoilers:

First off, no comic is worth a 3 year wait, and I'm really insulted by Marvel pulling that crap. Who knows if they'll ever actually bother finishing New Universal.

Anyways, the comic was quite good overall, has some AWESOME action and cool dialogue. One interesting scene involves Hulk making Wolverine choose which of his legs he'll eat.

One of the problems with it was that they reveal that apparently the Hulk is intelligent (offers Wolverine some cocoa at one point) simply because he was able to get his temper under control. Shouldn't he change back to Banner then? They don't bother explaining why he doesn't. Not to mention this sucks for all of us who loved Ult Hulk just as he was.

Anyways, he goes back to normal when Wolvey ticks him off again.

But the spoiler you might all like to know if you don't already is that She-Hulk shows up on the last panel. So it looks like we'll have to wait til #4 to see her in action.

I agree actually. I HATED his art in New Avengers and in SI, but I'm actually digging it here. I'll still avoid it when I can though

Agreed. From your spoilers it sounds like a decent issue. I'm not expecting much in terms of story, i just wanna see this so called "battle of the century!". Marvel's been telling us these past 3 years that this battle is unlike anything we've ever seen before from hulk and wolverine so....let's hope they deliver on that.

Cant wait for it. Hulk/Wolverine fights are usually awesome. And they've had 3 years to work on this one. I better crap myself in awe this time.
