The Brood Queen Wave

Well I guess most of your have probably heard or even seen the pic, that the Brood Queen is supposed to be an upcoming BAF. Probably in the wave after Blob. So we probably won't be seeing it until August/September ish. I'll list the whole wave here for quick and easy reference once it's released at toyfair.









Makes since to get the brood queen since MS is doing the broods. But another BAF x-men fig already? Kind of disspointing that we're not getting say Fin Fang Foom or someone like that instead. I still don't know if I'll even bother completeing this BAF for not. It looks ok, but I don't really know if I want it for sure yet.

# of X-men BAFs = 6 (Sentinel, Apocalypse, Onslaught, Mojo, Blob, Brood Queen?)
# of Fantastic Four BAFs = 3 (Galactus, Annihulus, ???????)

# of Avengers BAFs = 2 (Giant Man, MODOK)

Only info I can find on this anywhere, since the topic at Fwoosh was deleted.

Other stuff that could be happening:

HML4 BAF is a 90's X-Universe character
Black Bolt and FA Storm confirmed for HML4

Gonna have to see the Brood before I decide how much I want it, but right now its my least anticipated BAF.

And as much as I love the X-Men, I really hope that if the next BAF isn't from their universe, we really need to get some variaty in them. Seems to me like Hasbro is mostly concentrating on making X-Men in the Marvel Legends line, and only giving us a small amount of characters from other parts of the Marvel universe.

If they are reall smart they will make the Brood Queen be six or seven pieces and the other two figs can come with Brood aliens......And put one of the Aliens with Hydra Agent....so I can haves me **** loads.......

I've gonna get about two full cases of the MS Brood/Skrull two pack just for myself......Screw the Sentinels...I am doing an all out X-men vs the Brood Battle Scene........

Bastion? He aint that big.....Nimrod was pre 90s....Wendigo was pre 90s...Prime Sentinels Maybe....

i saw the pic of the queen. it was ok. she seemed wide, but short. but it's hard to say how tall she really is b/c of the picture. it looked interesting, and you being such a brood fan anyway rough, i think you'll like it.

i just was hoping we'd get fin fang foom finally.

It's going to have to be a strong regular figure line to get me to get the queen though. unless i give in an buy 1 or 2 figs i don't want (like beast and banshee) to get the BAF.

And usually i get two sets of ML. 1 for loose and 1 for mint. Think this will be my first time getting only 1 set and maybe doubles of really cool reg figs.

Lol you beat me to this (by several hours at that). Just for kicks I just googled "Hasbro wave 3" and got the same thing. Queen Brood sounds good, now if I can just get my hands on 3 of those Brood/Skrull 2 packs.

Bucky sounds good, but I wonder what Cap this will be? Rachel Marvel girl is fine, Black Knight's not bad either, Hydra Soldier could be good but I'd rather they come out with that 4 pack instead. Last Stand Colossus is so-so to me as I already have a Colosssus, Cyclops could rock even tho I have the Sentinel series one, Danger is so-so to me too. Not bad overall tho.

I take it the Ultimate Giant-man will just be a recolored Walmart one. Looks like a good list tho. I'm pissed and happy at the same time tho if it is a repaint. I'm happy because I can complete my current Giant man since I refused to buy the Wolverine burnt varient just for the Giant man hand. I'm pissed that I had to buy AoA Sabertooth and Wolverine in the first place to get the parts that I did.

That wiki wave 4 could be wrong that I posted. I read in the link you guys gave above with the Brood Queen pic and a guy said the same guy told him in a PM -

"Some other possible leaks from him:

-BAF for HML 4 is a 90's X-Universe character
-Black Bolt is in HML 4
-FA Storm is in HML 4 "

Personally I hope for this one. It's about time Black Bolt got a figure made of him, and I wouldn't mind an FA Storm, but I wonder who the "90's X-Universe character" would be.

and i really wouldn't want to see an all ultimates wave. plus, isn't the wasp in yellow the ulimate verison of wasp?
